Quoting: LeopardGog.com should bring their old and only Windows titles to Linux by Wine porting, like Topware did

For example:The Witcher Enhanced Edition
Like they did with is Mac version. I found the omission of Linux baffling, especially in the light of the subsequent Linux version of W2.
OS X version isn't using Wine. It's eON from VP, same as with TW2. Meanwhile you just can perfectly play TW1 in Wine yourself, instead of asking GOG to wrap it for you. It's like waiting for peeled potatoes in the store.

What's going on with Croteam games by the way? Why don't they sell them on GOG (besides two old Serious Sam games)?

Well, beneficial can mean different things (such as weakening the tyranny itself). I.e. you'd for example need to keep that dissent veiled (in order not to bring attention of loyal to the tyrant). Anyway, it looks like an unusual enough setting to provide different roleplaying.

Quoting: FeistI find myself constantly choosing the opposite of what I normally would and being rewarded by both more companion loyalty, more respect of factions and items of value.
Can you RP dissent there (or hidden dissent)?

Quoting: GuestAs much as I absolutely loved Pillars of Eternity, I find myself having a difficult time finding any interest in this game. I think it's the premise, as the spell concept seems pretty cool. It's the thought of playing as the bad guys that irks me, which I know is a huge shift away from the usual cliché of saving the day as the good guy. It's not just that you're the bad guys, it's that you're part of the bad guy regime that already won and you're trying to keep your jackboot on top of the oppressed peoples.

While I get that there's probably a whole lot more to that, this is sort of the impression I've got of this game.
Who knows, may be they built into the game major character development, and roleplaying of redeeming characters from bad to good? I hope they provided some great experience based one's choices. It's an RPG. Roleplaying certain character doens't equate you to that character. There aren't many games which actually allow character development instead of having static cliché good / bad characters. Anyway, I hope Obsidian won't disappoint me.

Just bought the game + soundtrack on GOG. Glad to see that Obsidian are supporting Linux gaming, unlike certain other RPG developers.

Though this is somewhat annoying:

Notice: this game comes with a 32-bit binary only
Why can't they release it in proper 64-bit already? Come on Obsidian.
