Quoting: rustybroomhandleThe publisher is Techland, fyi.
That sounds good. They even released Dying Light on GOG (though not the Linux version).

Quoting: CybolicThey really messed up in the wording of their Kickstarter update, "Beta Access for All Backers". Apparently Linux and Mac backers aren't even included in the definition of "all" anymore :(
They probably meant [Windows version] beta access for all backers. That's about right.

Quoting: zimplex1Must be hard watching all these steam only games pass you by then.
Usually not. Most of them are kind of noise. Some of them are admittedly something that I still hope will come out DRM-free (like Bioshock Infinite), but other than that there are plenty of good DRM-free games to play, I even didn't catch up on my backlog yet.

With Paradox though, I'm somewhat concerned about future Vampire: The Masquerade games, just because I like the settings. Since Paradox bought White Wolf, they'll be in control of those games, and if they'll make them Steam only, that will be rather upsetting to me personally.

I hope Paradox aren't going to cause any issues (if they are this publisher). A lot of games developed by their own studios are Steam only. I even suspect upcoming Tyranny by Obsidian which is funded by Paradox will also have such problem.

I hope the publisher won't mess things up with DRM and other trash. If it's someone like Devolver Digital, it can be good.

I've heard GLFW is easier to manage in multithreaded applications.

Never saw the game before, but it looks fun. Do they have such music for soundtrack too? I'll probably get it if it will come out DRM-free.

Quoting: CandricSI see. I own Shadow Warrior. I might get this if it makes it to Linux; let's just hope the discount happens then too.
Looks like it's permanent, which is good:

Owners of Shadow Warrior (2013), who want to smash some mean machines, can instead take advantage of the whopping, permanent 85% loyalist discount!

So no need to rush buying it, we can wait for Linux version to show up :)

Quoting: GuestYou get the 85% off on GOG as well if you own the original already (on GOG). I think also if you own Shadow Warrior. Otherwise it's only 10% off.
The original was never released on GOG, so it's a premiere for GOG users. Shadow Warrior discount is correct.
