Raspberry Pi 4 announced and available - sounds like a pretty nice upgrade, Raspbian now based on Debian 10

I absolutely Love these things! I've bought the R-PI 1B+ , R-PI 2B, the R-PI 3B, and the R-PI 3B+. Definitely adding this to the collection.

I personally dislike the Raspbian OS though, I would prefer Vanilla Debian. Right now i'm using Ubuntu Mate [External Link].
I'm also running one connected to my TV as a Media Center/Streamer running Kodi.

You just can't beat the price and Utility of these things, sooo many uses.

I don't think there's any thing wrong with covering this Liam, I mean they run Linux and you can Game on them. Perfect fit.

Don't forget guys! The new Raspberry Pi 3 B+ and the Raspberry Pi 4 support booting directly from a USB Hard Drive or SSD, I could really care less about EMMC.

I'm just glad that there will finally be an English Only Channel. The way it is right now is just ridiculous.
I started playing 4 days ago and was honestly going to quit until someone told me about this update.

I just can't play a game where the Main Chat Channel is spammed with foreign languages 24/7.

Why they didn't separate the languages to begin with is a very good question. Every other game does this, they either have separate servers or they mandate English in Main Chat.

Quoting: liamdawe
Quoting: KimyrielleWhat a nice little gem! Good find, Liam! :)
It's interesting, as I've seen a great many people say discovery is an issue on Steam and that the discovery queue does nothing and yet even someone like me (who goes over hundreds a month) is able to find new games with it...
I can find "new" games no problem, the hard part is finding "good" games that are worth spending my hard-earned money on. Everyone has different tastes too. What one person thinks is good, another may think is horrendous. I agree with this one though, good find.

Talking point: What are you playing this weekend?

Been playing Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction. Simply a Classic.

Up for a little reading? GOG have released another round of Visual Novels

I was honestly hoping these things would start to disappear, Visual Novels are cancer... I don't even consider them to be games. They've even spread to GOG now?

I've been playing this since beta, and this game is absolutely amazing. A must-have game, and they release content faster than I can keep up with it.

Tremulous isn't dead, they are working on version 1.3 over at the grangerhub.com [External Link] , I played tremulous for years. It was an extremely fun game. Then the developers abandoned the game for while before another group eventually resumed development. A lot of people migrated over to the Unvanquished fork, Which is basically the same game, but I prefer to support the original project. I like the old name better too. I need to give it another try to see if its still as good as I remember.

I'm a little bit confused on why they forked in the first place. Why not just pick up development of tremulous?
As far as I know tremulous is open source too, and was much more widely known. Last I played it, the game was almost a carbon copy of tremulous anyway with slightly improved graphics.

Unvanquished is missing my favorite map too, ATCS :P

Edit: Appears grangerhub.com has been hacked and they are working to get it back online at the moment.
