Hmm... I'm not sure about that card game... but the VR titles!
I only hope it will support VR on Linux. There are way to few VR games for Linux yet.
Quoting: Al3sPortal 3 is the obvious choice for a VR game. I'm not so sure about HL3Oh boy, yeah! I've played Portal: Stories VR and even though it's pretty short (could be played through in less than an hour), it was one of the most awesome games I've played so far in VR. I mean, Portal rocks anyway, but in VR it will be mind blowing.

Just yesterday we played Aliens vs Predator (from 2010) again... which works really really great in wine (platinum reating). As a big fan of the Alien universe, I don't want to miss this game and wine comes to my rescue here ;)

Reminds me bit of those other crew building games, like Guns of Icarus Online, Star Trek: Bridge Crew (yeah, not on Linux :/), Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime... and I like those games. So count me in too!

Would it be an idea to include an option if users are having a VR headset, and if so which one?
edit: I don't know if Oculus or Windows Mixed Reality HMDs are working with Steam VR on Linux at all.

Yeah! Awesomesauce @Feral!
Quoting: nattydreadI wonder if it will have the VR level?I would be interested in that too, as I've seen the VR support of Rise of the Tomb Rider on the steam store. Vulkan should be a good base for VR support. How cool would that be, if that gets also ported?
Looks like the Linux market share on Steam went up in January

The survey on Linux is not a myth :->
I even attached my HTC Vive before completing the survey, so that was also taken into account ^^

If you are lucky, you can complete the game without issues. Of course after the first start, where you have to adjust resolution and language.
I ran into a rare not platform specific bug, where the ingame lighting was overblooming. But after a restart it was gone.
The game itself is great, graphics style reminded me a bit of the lo-fi sci-fi of Alien (the movie) or Alien: Isolation.
Interacting with a computer in a pretty sophisticated way via terminal is pretty cool. Depending on what you come up with, you can get pretty cool answers ;)
And yeah, it's can be completed in just a few hours, but there is more to discover. E.g. there are several endings.

Looks like the sci-fi narrative exploration game Event[0] may still be coming to Linux

As it wasn't mentioned so far, a public beta is available and already working pretty well.
There are some issues to be ironed out, but it's looking pretty good already.

Microsoft is rumoured to be looking to buy Valve, EA and others

Gabe Newell left Microsoft... why should he go back there, or sell the company he built from ground up back to them?
Microsoft might want to buy Valve, that rumor could actually be true, but I hope they will never be able to do so. Otherwise... rip Linux gaming. Microsoft is struggling on the gaming sector, as the PS4 outran the XBox one... so yeah, as they did before when they couldn't do something on their own: buy others who can. From a business perspective totally fine.
And everything needs competition. So it's not even good that the PS4 is doing so much better than the XBox line. But as a Linux PC gamer, it doesn't really bother me what happens on the console sector. Though it probably has some side effects to PC gaming in general.
So let's hope Valve stays autarkic, as we need Linux gaming as a competitor to Windows gaming... and Linux gaming still has quite a way to go.
