The Ruiner devs are awesome. In the end they kept all their promises. To show my appreciation, I bought another copy on gog ;)

Very very cool game! This is the next gorgeous looking UE4 game after Everspace :)
Who is playing Ruiner with a Steam controller? I have issues getting the right pad to feel good. Mouse region isn't working (at least for me), as the mouse cursor is then in either left top or bottom right corner, and the character isn't turning around at all.
Using Joystick move or Mouse move kinda works, but depending on where I start the movement on the pad, without lifting my thumb it might turn out I can't turn in one direction, which is pretty unfortunate in certain situations. I guess Mouse region would be the best way if it would work.
It works perfect with an XBox 360 controller (or keyboard/mouse), but I'd like to use the Steam controller instead. Any ideas?

Awesome stuff... did anyone try Elite: Dangerous with this?
Also looks like I'd have to re-learn how to handle wine ;) I was pretty comfortable before and got many games running with secret tricks (which are now on winehq of course ;)). But using dxvk in this stage seems a bit tricky and needs some effort. Looking forward to see further progress and play games on Linux where the publisher or developer is strict against porting.
I only hope playing games with wine and dxvk won't result in any bans or so, because the anti-cheat software doesn't recognize it properly.

Feral Interactive to show off Rise of the Tomb Raider on Linux next week live on Twitch

I've waited with buying this game, though I was hoping it gets a port from Feral like the first Tomb Raider did. Like with Life is Strange... and maybe even Shadow of War.
So yes, when Rise of the Tomb Raider is released for Linux, a copy will be bought form their own store!

Don't know if this has already been mentioned, couldn't find anything in a quick search: In their Q&A video from 2 weeks ago, they were talking about Linux (and Mac) being a top priority for polishing, so this update might already contain some results of that?

A pretty good and imho underrated game. It even has several endings.
The game doesn‘t take your hand and shows you your choices, you have to discover them yourself.
For free it‘s a no brainer.

HTC Vive PRO HMD pre-orders open, standard Vive has price drop

I'm still thinking about getting the Vive Pro. It really is a heavy price, especially compared to getting just the HMD with the connector box and not a complete bundle. So it's targeted for owners of the original Vive as an upgrade. Getting a complete bundle would put another 300€ for 2 base stations and another 290€ for two Vive controllers on top of the price of the Vive Pro. Man, that accessories is as much money as the old Vive bundle.
Yeah, early adopter problems... I also think that if you do roomscale VR the higher resolution of the Vive Pro doesn't really matter. When moving around the current (low) resolution is not realized anymore after some seconds ingame. For seated titles it's different. Here you might look at one spot for a longer time, so it's more easily to see the grid of the display.
Nevertheless, there are some pretty cool games working on Linux already, e.g. Croteam's Serious Sam and Talos Principle VR titles. Some little titles like Munch VR and Locomancer work. Even EVERSPACE was working before the last update.
Of course that's not much compared to what's already available for VR in general. But it's a start, and VR is a niche in PC gaming while VR on Linux is a niche within the VR niche... nicheception!
Let's see how the three VR titles Valve hinted to be working on turn out. I hope the release of these will mark VR on Linux as stable. On the other hand Valve's "The Lab" is (still?) not out for Linux VR...

Aww man, this is so sad. Especially if it's already done and working. If they don't want to promote it officially, a Linux version in the beta branch would be a possibility. Denuvo is already removed, so please give the Linux version a go!
