Another Fishing Game Is Planning A Linux Version Named 'Euro Fishing'
4 Nov 2015 at 1:50 am UTC Likes: 1

I will likely pick this up. I've had three good fishing game experiences in my lifetime: Super Black Bass (SNES), Sierra Trophy Bass 3D (Windows 9x), and to a lesser extent, Rapala Pro Bass Fishing (PS3, complete with oversized rod controller). Oh, and I actually LOVED the fishing mini-game in The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (GameBoy).

I expect Euro Fishing to match none of those, but I'll never know unless I try it. If it sucks, I can just get a refund and then go to a lake and pull out some trout for real.

Quoting: LinasHow come I have never came across anyone mentioning this game in any discussions about racing games on Linux? Where can you find this old Linux version?
As it says in the article you're commenting on, it was on Ubuntu, available in the Ubuntu Software Center.

There's A Possibility Of Just Cause 3 Coming To SteamOS/Linux

In one of the articles I read - I forget where - it said that Just Cause 3 was demo'd via in-house streaming. I'm keeping my hopes very, very low. But damn if I won't buy the shit out of it if it does come to Linux!

Steam Controller Motion Controls Look Very Slick

It's way more responsive than the SIXAXIS ever was! Works well in the Portal 2 recommended template, but I haven't yet nailed down a nice setup for DiRT Showdown (only messed around for 5-10 minutes though).

Valve Rep Confirms Why Some Games Have Their SteamOS Icon Removed
18 Oct 2015 at 4:53 pm UTC Likes: 3

I think this is a good move. It's damn annoying to buy a game, have it not launch, and then have to research, usually in the forums, as to why that is the case, and then figure out how to fix it on your particular distro. That being said, the Steam Runtime itself ought to be expanded or expandable in some automatic manner, when a game needs something like Java, or whatever, and if needed, present a EULA - just like it already does with some games.

My First Hours With A Steam Controller

I am already in love with my Steam Controller, and I've only owned it for about 32 hours. :)

Surprisingly, the Left Grip button feels really natural for iron sights in FPS games.

Valve Looks Like It's Removed The SteamOS Icon For Games That Work On Linux, But Not Perfectly On SteamOS

All of the games in the list that I'm familiar with require having external software installed or have general brokenness on Linux. It has nothing to do with launchers. Removing games with launchers would remove the vast majority of Unity games... Would be great if Valve could convince every dev to stop with the useless POS Unity launcher, though.
