This is excellent! I am sticking to Godot Engine for my own projects, since it's true FOSS and extremely light, but I'm excited to start seeing UE4 games flood into my Steam library.

Quoting: natewardawgI enjoyed Lars' article, and Defender's Quest of course :)They could try Enigma.
Unfortunately for folks using GameMaker, it will almost certainly not get a Linux editor now.

I'm definitely glad Godot released when it did, before Unity ever shat out a Linux editor (they're still constipated, in that regard). I find it works great and I've even contributed [External Link] a bit of code to it. Overall, it's come leaps and bounds in the past year or so, with a bright future ahead.
Darksiders Linux Port Looks Like It Is Still Happening

Darksiders is a treat. Once you get past the combat-heavy intro, it turns into Zelda-for-adults. Too bad the sequel didn't live up to the original. It was still a good game, just it felt totally different to me. The loot system was annoying and it felt more like Prince of Persia and God of War than Zelda, only not as good as any of them.

Stencyl already runs on Linux and lets you visually script your game. There has been a lot of talk in the Godot IRC about visual scripting as well, so I am confident we will see that in the future, though it's not officially on the roadmap yet. Personally, I understand the desire for this kind of thing, but it's really not for me.

Quoting: OZSeafordI think the lesson we need to learn, is that everygame will not get ported to Linux, but game are STILL being ported which is great.Well, they did say it was happening. The lesson, then, is: don't believe it until it's real.

I don't think TopWare knows WTF is going on with their own games. They just delayed Raven's Cry AGAIN, by only 4 days this time. Really? What can they accomplish in four days? Will it be delayed again on Friday? I don't like to place bets, but I wouldn't be shocked.
I have wanted Two Worlds II since the first word of a port leaked out. I'm just going to assume it will never happen now, and move on. If I get surprised one day, so be it.

Quoting: TheReaperUKBio Shock Infinite looks like its following Two Worlds as it has been removed from my steam client list of games for SteamOS/Linux, And i'm not alone in Bio Shock Infinite being removed from steam for SteamOS/Linux.It shouldn't have ever been listed in Linux to begin with, since the port isn't ready yet. It's coming. Don't panic.
