A Very Important Announcement For You
16 Aug 2014 at 4:43 pm UTC

I wish to expres my gratitude for this website.

I check it a couple of times a day and I found it very interesting.
It also entertains me.
And I use the Sales section as my basis for purschase games.

Normally I have Ad-block Edge activated; but from now I'll disconect it for this page.

To Liam :

I know people were dicks sometimes and that the World's top sport is to criticize in Internet.
Many times that critics were by uneducated people who like to troll.

I've got insulted in Internet in various forums only because someone didn't share my point of view.
At first it disturbed me a lot. But does because I took it serious and personal.

So that's the trick : Don't take that dick's comments seriously.

Best wishes to you pal. I expect to read you again very soon.

A New The Witcher 2 Linux Beta Appears, Improved Performance

It is really true that GoG.com is very conservative when releasing / supporting games.

So conservative that they release games for Linux of other companies rather than publish its in-house games.

They seem to prefer to publish it on Steam either.

Crazy world.

I'm really happy.

It's time to make a GoG.com distinctive for the GOL user avatars.

How many releases do you think will be until this project will be fully playable (could finish the standard game campaign)?

Shadowrun Returns.

I enjoyed a lot.

Cards City Nights.

If you don't mind its naive looks, it's good as a card game.

Just A Friendly Reminder: Don't Buy A Game Until It Is Officially On Linux
24 Jun 2014 at 3:19 pm UTC

And, expanding a bit the titular :

-Don't buy hardware until the manufacturer release a Linux driver or a proper Linux driver is done by the community.

I still remember the Creative Labs promise of give a full featured hardware accelerated Linux driver of X-FI.
Full featured with hardware accelerated EAX 5 and OpenAL, 5.1, hardware mixing, hardware wavetable MIDI, and hardware MP3,AC3 encoding/decoding.

I gave credit to the words of Creative, so I bought an X-FI card.

Well, we know the rest of the history.

Trolling Delays Linux Release Of The Stanley Parable

A Linux developer that was trolled.
I saw this kind of trolling many times.

Surely some of us remember how "Q" ass-trolled "Bridgman" (AMD driver developer) at Phoronix.

Gran-PC :

I recomend you to state clearly to the users that you won't discuss by private mail.
Reserv that use for the people you see really could be of help.

The rest is thing of the forum's moderation. If you experience that in Steam forums you've been trolled and the staff do nothing, then you shouldn't continue to post there.

First your dignity, and second the rest.

Do We Want Ubisoft To Support Linux?

Hello Liam.

I don't intend to offend with this my opinion.
But I think this article shows double morale.

Double morale, because some days ago you call us (the people who don't like Steam) pedanthics for thinking Steam is DRM.

And for the topic itself, yes, I think we don't need Ubiplay in Linux, as I think the same about Steam and Origin.
