Nintendo themselfes made quite a few remakes across multiple platforms and i absolutely lost track which
edition is a remake of which other edition, which platforms they run on, which areas you can visit and which Pokemon can be caught where and in which editions and the background story.
That would fit perfectly well with the Emudeck article

Quoting: constWished for a Top 100 Pokemon-like games for Linux/Steam Deck. :DI think an overview across the Nintendo Originals would also be good.

Quoting: pleasereadthemanualCan't get past one mention of GOG without talking about how GOG Galaxy doesn't have a GNU/Linux build. There are various tools that cover that need like MiniGalaxy and Heroic.

Google plans their own version of Wine to run Windows games on Stadia

Google has deep pockets and I think Upstream wine could benefit from it.
I don't like the idea of having another fork besides Proton as that would mean duplicated work and people missing bugfixes if they choose the wrong edition.

Converting to longs or other infrastructure work seems to be the current focus for wine.
No wonder that there aren't any major Bugfixes for games.
I think we will need to wait a couple of weeks to see more interesting changes again..

Quoting: g000hHeroic launcher is like what Epic launcher would have been for Linux but better - no store and no adverts, muhahaha.I think a unified store across platforms would be a cool feature. You don't need to use it if you don't want.

When they patch the game to remove the multiplayer, they could take care of some old useless warnings and limitations in native code. I am sure the modding community has some ideas what to fix :)

Battle.net uses own file format and protocols and multiple binaries and i suspect the anti-cheat system doesn't solely rely on the executed games.
I am sure help is always welcome.

Quoting: SacredsinAs always thanks for the awesome launcher. Any plans to add Origin or Battlenet support? While it would be nice, the amount of research that needs to be done is huge.
