Square Enix invests in Playtron for their Linux-based PlaytronOS - first Alpha out now

The plan of PlayTr0nOS is indeed cooperations with publishers.
I wonder though what EpicGames would require from a mostly opensource platform to allow games like Fortnite.

I would say the "locked to valve" is a simplification for "using anything else isn't as straightforward as using steam". Other stores require decky loader to do it and still aren't as well integrated into the GUI as steam is.
Playtron makes this look a lot better.

I am still waiting for cross platform cooperative play with friends on the PlayStation.
So no new game until they keep the promise for the second part of the series. "We look into it" is too vague and they need to have the guts to say they won't do it

You could have an additional toggle to switch between DC and original story line like you can switch on the old resolution and textures by pressing a key.
Would be sad to not have all content in 4k resolution.

Quoting: mylkai think they already sold enough, or at least made more money, than they thought.

I would still like to see how the reception of my current project is before i make a similar one :)

Quoting: pbBetter remake parts 3 and 4 IMO. But hopefully they will get to that, too.
It probably comes down to money.
If they sell enough they can expand the process of mixing ai and human work to the other parts of the series.

I like to see a consistent series with high resolution and modern interface across all parts too.

Heroic Games Launcher v2.15 has expanded GOG support, EA games from Epic Store support

Quoting: dziadulewiczThere is also a DEB [External Link] package for Ubuntu but it is hard to find through the website. Flatpak is not installed on Ubuntu by default.
Deb-get is a good addition for things that don't have a ppa

Open Source implementation of GOG Galaxy's Communication Service, Comet sees a first release

Quoting: RaulKong898I would like a simplified tutorial because I can't understand from GitHub how to install and use Comet on Linux Fedora Workstation with x64.
The next release of Heroic will be created with Comet support https://github.com/Heroic-Games-Launcher/HeroicGamesLauncher/pull/3727 [External Link]
Maybe it is easier to wait for that?

Quoting: dibzHonestly the Galaxy Client itself, ignoring Linux for a moment, feels mostly abandoned as it is. I believe the single person they had maintaining the integrations quit quite some time ago, and was never replaced.
The broken ones are community integrations which you can hardly blame the company for :)

Quoting: GuestStill wish they had Galaxy working instead but Heroic generally does the job at the level I need it to.
Is there anything you need missing apart from the fact that it doesn't use the wrapper plugins for other stores like Rockstar or Ubi and has a strict focus on reversed backends?
