Put it on my wishlist. This kind of game is usually instabuy for me. Especially as this one seems to be kind of unique in regards of society elements and the punishment. Really interesting.

For me the Gfx from Dwarf Fortress are looking much more cleaner - especially if using one of the tile/gfx packs. I agree with gabber, it's way too grainy.
The figure reminds me somehow on the original lemmings and lemmings II. But even those were just more detailed/less grainy (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JJ9CS0KUZvY).
However as DF is one of my all-time favorites I put it on my watchlist. But I share my concerns with Tchey when thinking about such games, e.g. gnomoria. So i need to watch a while before supporting with money.

One of the games with the most playtime in my steam account. Simply brilliant.
Together with Prision Architect the main reason why Early Access is a great thing for me. I really like to see how design and game running develope, evolve and changes over time.

I was trying hard to achieve the 3 stars in Croquembouche in Theme Two Point Hospital but finally did it on Friday.
Yesterday I started playing Warhammer 40,000: Gladius - Relics of War. And will continue this later on. To the discomfort of my son because I'm not allowing him to watch. To my discomfort I now have to wait until he is in bed and sleeping. :dizzy:
Also I used the sale on Steam to buy all DLCs for Total War: WARHAMMER. This game will be next on my list.
Besides this I'm looking enviously at my friends playing bard's tale 4 on windows while I'm still waiting for the Linux version. :-(
on the good side is, they claimed the game to be buggy and now waiting for patches.

Most important, the update comes with a video. The last thing somebody called update did not had a video did not count.
Did I say I really enjoy the update videos?
Prison Architect was my first early access game and is responsible that i have a positive view about early access on steam.

For me it's working like a charm.
I also had the 30 second blank screen during the first start.
In opposite to Liam my settings were already fine. The game directly launched in an high resolution (2560x1600) and all quality related settings were maxed. After 30 Minutes of testing everything seems to run fine and smooth at about 80 FPS.
I'm running with nvidia 396.54-2 from the arch repos and NOT using wayland.
What I'm wondering is that how the nvidia driver is working together with the game. X resolution is set to auto. My native resolution is 3840x1600. The game tells me it runs at 2560x1600 in full-screen mode. The Monitor is set to not scale/etc and show the input 1:1. However I get a sharp detailed full screen picture without borders. Scaling is also correct. So I think the nvidia driver or the control center is somehow overruling the game settings. Does anybody has a link to more information on that topic?

By the way, I had a 25% off coupon for this game on steam. Any idea where it came from? How can I find out?

Looks like Valve may be preparing a 64bit version of the Steam client

Having a 64bit steam using the 64 bit sys libs but brings with the 32bit part system independently. But I know about the technical difficulties regarding all the different distros and versions. So just a whish.
However, 64 bit client would be a step into the right direction.

Quoting: Doc AngeloIf the installation of Steam will be easier that would be fine. Maybe Steam will still depend on some 32 bit libs because of all the games that are 32 bit (such as Civ 5 for example). If that is true, there would be literally no benefit from changing the client from 32 to 64 bit.I agree, a 64bit only steam will most likely prevent playing majority of games.

AHHRGGHHHH!
Typically the first version since ages officially released in Germany won't come to Linux. I was really looking out for it. :-(
As they obviously already ported their engine, it's hard to believe (at least for me) that it is that much effort to support at least Ubuntu/SteamOS. Maybe they also fear the user comments if not tested properly on a loot of Linux distros.
