The Linux client of discord somewhat sucks. It still misses a lot of features compared to Windows. Secondly other basic things like webcams are not working properly. Meantime I'm using Discord as web app in chromium. This works way better than the native client.

Wow, there seems to be lots of reservations ongoing. It took me quite a while to put a reservation and go through the payment process. I'm wondering how many people put a preorder. Must be really lots...

Funfact, in the order fulfillment screen they show this "game" is only supported for running on windows. Well...

Really one of my all-time favorite games series. The game brings me into ZEN-like mode while playing it. I like to listen to audio books while playing. I really like this kind of idle games.

Can anyone explain which Bundle to buy for Crusader Kings III?

Should I buy:
- Crusader Kings III + Expansion Pass ~ 75€
- Crusader Kings III Royal Edition ~ 68€
- Crusader Kings III Royal Edition + Extension Pass ~ 102€

Royal Edition and Extension Pass looks kind of redundant, but only partly. If Paradox would initially launch a "Pay-Once-and-Get-Everything-that-comes" Edition for 120€, I would buy it. Maybe only as an offering for the preorder phase.

Saber Interactive / Embracer Group acquire Aspyr Media, Gearbox

They also bought Easybrain - a company specialized on mobile casual games - for 765 million $.
For me it looks like they wanna extend the target platforms to mobile and Nintendo Switch and therefore bought Aspyr. That might include stadia.

I do not believe that Linux desktop gaming is a strategic target for such a huge company. Such small pet projects are usually the first things to be stopped after a merger by the controllers. They seek to streamline acquisitions and cut such things off.

Finally I think the majority of the mentioned Linux games have been released before the aqusition by Embracer of the specific studios. Therefore I‘m quite pessimistic regarding effects on gaming on linux of this move.
