Quoting: GuestDo any of you GoL ladies and gentlemen play the first game on less powerful GPU's ?I'm playing on a Radeon R9 280 / Athlon X4. The system is about 4 or 5 years old now. Everspace works great for me! Great game.

One reason to be optimistic here: Bugbyte did a great job with Battlevoid - simple but fun.
Space Haven looks a little more complex, so I'm hoping they can keep the fun factor.

Not going to help fund things anymore. Still a bit mad at Spacebase DF9.

If the global average of Linux players is 0.8% and only half of the games sold support Linux, then you would expect sales for the half that supports Linux to be 2* 0.8 ~= 1.6%. Maybe a little less now due to steam play.

Homeworld
And if you're into space flight you may be into atmospheric flight, then you get to add X-Plane, flightgear, Microsoft Flight simulator, IL-2 Sturmovik 1946, Sky Rogue, ... a ton of great games!
My #1 windows-only game that hasn't made it onto GNU/linux yet is DCS World due to the starforce DRM, haven't played it about 4 years now but there are plenty of other awesome games that work on linux and are therefore deserving of my money and attention.

Quoting: iiari...Is Star Citizen actually installing via wine or do we still need to install in windows and copy the files over?
Windows titles via Proton or Wine that work:
Angels Fall First
Elite Dangerous
Eve Valkyrie
Executive Assault 2
Void Destroyer 1 and 2
I-War 1 and 2
Landinar Into the Void
House of the Dying Sun
Star Citizen
War Tech Fighters
XWing and XWvsTF classics
...

Quoting: PatolaThe survey is nice but I think the questions about having used Wine or Steam Play in the last month are misguided. It should focus more on frequency, like if you use daily or once a week etc.Yes, I've used proton in the past month and I am waiting for a specific game to work.

I like that it's made in Godot and that it's influenced by Twilight Struggle. The release seems very soon. Hoping for a good AI that is not omniscient. I'll be watching this one!
