Thanks Liam! I made the jump to Antergos the day before yesterday after having had broken installs with Manjaro and not being able to boot the live USB of an earlier version of Antergos, and so far I'm loving it as well! I did have to start the live USB in "No KMS" mode and it messed up my language and location (I'm based in Greece, but I speak English - it reversed it), but it's Arch, there's very little in the way of just going in and fixing it manually :D
I must say I'm very impressed with the speed I'm getting on this distro as well as the surprising quality (and transparency) of AUR packages.
Again, thanks for giving me the push to try out an Arch based distro again.

I already bought it, based purely on the fact that it seems to be an unconventional, atmospheric horror game, and that's something we desperately need more of on Linux.

They would probably find them easier to fix if they named some of the issues they ran into. I get the limitations of a three man team, but this does seem a bit like giving up before even really trying.

Quoting: GuestNone of the stat sources are about games or Wine either, so maybe this discussion is something best kept to the forum?Quoting: runeHowever, I have to disagree when it comes to older games. If it's obvious that a game will never be ported to Linux, then there's only one way to play it.None of the stat sources discussed here distinguish the age of the games of the subject. [...]

People really need to stop even referring to the Steam Hardware Survey as any sort of statistic. It's a survey, and an optional and non-voluntary one at that, about hardware, not operating systems.
Since Pornhub is the only non-tech site listed here, that's obviously the one that most accurately reflects the general public and the one I'll be quoting in the future ;P

Quoting: MaCroX95I personally love Wine... not in the sense that it should replace linux-native stuff, but being able to play my favorite legacy Windows games is amazing and having this backwards compatibility is awesome... I sure like to see that even Wine started to evolve really quickly lately, it is really nice addition to the games that we get natively and having options for running Windows games and software makes our platform even greater if anyone agrees with that or not :)Couldn't agree more! What really sold me on Wine, was when I realised I was running games such as Vampire: The Masquerade: Bloodlines, System Shock 2 and other older games without any issue on Linux and hadn't even realised that users on the games' native platform Windows were struggling or unable to do the same; now _that_ is amazing!

For being a fall-back mode, that is surprisingly well executed! If the game had released with this mode exclusively, I wouldn't have thought twice about it, that's how good it looks.

Would love to see Wasteland 2 and Satellite Reign updated to use the Vulkan renderer - those two could use a few extra FPS.

Oh, that's great! I bought it a while ago, but haven't gotten around to playing it yet, fearing the difficulty; no more! :D
EDIT: Has anyone gotten it to work? I'm not seeing any new difficulty modes after installing the DLC.
EDIT 2: It required a restart of Steam to be applied, in case anyone stumbles on the same issue.
