Those are FPS numbers to celebrate! I don't mind at all having lower average FPS, if it means no drops to 14-20FPS as Windows does here.

Despite the missing Linux icon, this installs and runs beautifully on my GTX 970 powered Ubuntu machine. There's an HRTF toggle in the options that will crash the game immediately, but that may have to do with my 5.1 setup.

Addictive, atmospheric and damn hard. Highly recommended.
I think it was Rock, Paper, Shotgun that described it as "a Quake fever dream", a sentiment I can only agree with :D

I will definitely be picking this up when it arrives for Linux! I loved Human Revolution and its DLC The Missing Link (both play near-perfectly in Wine) so I'm very much looking forward to continuing the story.

Jokes aside this looks like it could be a lot of fun. Most of the space shooters we currently have on Linux tend to get dull very quickly (not you, Freespace, you're a beaut), so I'll be happy to have another one.

Having a name that sounds so close to something else [External Link] and tweeting pictures of a spaceship really helps put that post in a very joyous light :P

They gave no guarantees for the Kickstarter campaign, but they promised Linux support when they later released Giana Sisters in a Humble Bundle. Personally, I backed the Kickstarter hoping it would come to Linux eventually and because I have fond memories of the original C64/Amiga game.

I'm a bit torn on this. On one hand, I was one of the Kickstarter backers for Giana Sisters, so the Linux port is quite dear to me and its delay really gets to me, on the other hand, having the developer see sales on Linux for their first Linux game might actually speed along the port of Giana Sisters.
