Two Point Hospital released with same-day Linux support

I can't stop playing this game. I expected it to be good yet it still surpassed my expectations. (Worth noting that I didn't play Theme Hospital). It's not very difficult, but it's very fun and addicting.

I really like how when I start working on new hospital, I have to micro-manage everything, but slowly I get it to a state where in the end I don't have to anything, just watch how the hospital fully designed by me now runs itself.

The Linux version seems great, in 15 hours of gameplay I haven't encountered single issue.

What are you playing this weekend?

Which Skyrim version are you guys using? I was thinking of getting the Legendary Edition.

I'm with Liam on 2. Hospital and slaying demons. Btw Doom runs smoothly for me even on OpenGL.

Quoting: lucifertdarkThe only game you listed I don't have is Into the Breach, I might be able to pick that up tomorrow.
According to the last statement from dev, they are currently working on the Linux version, so that might be something to consider.

Quoting: theghostDefinitely on my buy list.
I just need a few good reviews to convince me to get this in the next days.
Seems like the developer didn't provide any press samples early up, there aren't any reviews available.

Guy is a bit of a prick, but his reviews are usually on point.

This would have been an insta buy for me, but now I'm hesitating because of two details which I noticed in the steam page of the game:

1.
"Incorporates 3rd-party DRM: Denuvo Anti-tamper "
- well as far as I know, Denuvo is Windows only, so is it safe to assume the Linux version is Denuvo free?

2. Under Recommended Requirements for Linux I noticed this:
Recommended:
Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
OS: Ubuntu 18.04/Steam OS
Processor: Intel Core i5 6600 or AMD Ryzen 1600x
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1060, 3 GB (Legacy: NVIDIA Geforce GTX 780, 4GB) or AMD RX 580, 4 GB (Legacy: AMD R9 290X, 4GB )
Storage: 5 GB available space
Additional Notes: DirectX Version 11

- I hope this is just an error and it doesn't mean that the Linux version doesn't just use a Wine-like layer to run the game.

Quoting: m0nt3So F1 2018 and less likely shadow of war. That said, I really would prefer shadow of war.
I've seen at least three guesses for F1 2018 around here, but I am having a lot of difficulty understanding what the picture of an 8-point star and "Working wit fire and steel" have to do with that game. Moreover, I can't shake the feeling that Feral might skip F1 2018.

Don't get me wrong, though, I'm so looking forward to that game it's already been wishlisted so Codemasters are aware of the demand.
Well the star in the picture has 8 points, but that's about the only connection I could make with F1 2018. However, ignoring the hint, F1 2018 would make the most sense given the time of this announcement.

Shadow of War is too old for radar, Shadow of the Tomb Rider and TW: 3 Kingdoms are not yet out on Windows.

Quoting: buckysrevengeReminds me of Gang Beasts, I'll have to check it out
"Reminds" is a very weak word for this, this seems like a carbon copy of Gang Beasts. Same concept, same core gameplay.

And Gang Beasts is already available on Linux, so what's the point?

Quoting: Mountain ManMaybe it's Skyrim. Wouldn't that be ironic now that you can play Skyrim in Steam for Linux using Proton.
As far as I know, you can't play Skyrim using Proton yet. Or am I wrong?
I assure you that you can, and it actually works extremely well.
Glad to hear that. What are your specs and which version are you using?
