What are you playing this weekend?

By - | Views: 21,582

It's the weekend already? It's also September! When did that happen?

This weekend's main dish is going to be Two Point Hospital, the recent release that has you build a hospital and cure people from some really strange and slightly amusing afflications. So far it seems pretty good and runs really nicely. I will have some proper thoughts up early next week on that!

I've no doubt I will also be diving into some more BlazeRush (70% off on Humble) and Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime (60% off on Humble). Both of which I'm loving in local multiplayer with the mini-me.

Doom in Steam Play is also on the radar. I have to say I am really impressed with it, some good demon slaying to be had. The Vulkan performance is nuts, so smooth!

So the question is: what are you playing this weekend? Do let us know what you think about it!

Skyrim on Linux :-)

Dying Light, Shadow of Mordor and Skyrim. Just ditched ps4 for pure linux gaming and with proton it's so much easier now(flawless skyrim experience)!

Which Skyrim version are you guys using? I was thinking of getting the Legendary Edition.

I'm with Liam on 2. Hospital and slaying demons. Btw Doom runs smoothly for me even on OpenGL.

Hollow Knight, the last game for which I fall in love (if I find time, I have to install Ubuntu on a friend's laptop and switch from Ubuntu 16.04 to Kubuntu 18.04 on my main PC I use for work and gaming... so, many software re-installations on the way)! :)

Chaos Reborn, Dirt Rally and maybe a little Endless Space 2(proton)

I've been playing Mass Effect using Steam Play. For the most part, it's worked well. There have been a few crashes, but I think that's probably just the game rather than Proton.

I'm also playing The Long Dark and Two Point Hospital natively on Linux. Long Dark is always good fun, and Two Point is a very familiar-feeling game. I've only completed the first hospital so far, getting it to three stars, but I'm having a great time with it.

Crazy Justice! :D

Yeah, funny. Practically I think this weekend will turn out to be Two Point Hospital and Graveyard Keeper.

GTA V.

Yes, it runs on Steam Play/Proton :D

Needs a workaround to make it start, and it occasionally starts stuttering after a while, but overall it's a pretty smooth experience.
