Quoting: darkone778So having spent a good amount of time with PoE now. I most definitely have to say that I am so glad that I back this game on Kickstarter. I have always been a big fan of the Infinity Engine games. I know for myself I have backed Wasteland 2, PoE, and Torment. I have yet to be disappointed in them thus far.
I've put 40 hours in to it and really haven't been disappointed. Wasteland 2 was one of my favourite games from last year too. I didn't back Torment but going off the strength of this, I wish I had. Kickstarter has been really good to me so far.

Nice bundle. First in a long time where I didn't own anything.
When activated on steam, Shadow Warrior gave me the option to download. I didn't try it but it may work.

Quoting: STiATAs far as I can say (16 hours played), if you like old school CRPGs, go for it. I am eagerly waiting to go home from work to play again .. and ye, I didn't sleep much tonight :).
16 hours played??? Not bad going considering it was released yesterday. I played 4 hours last night though, and turned it on when I got home from work today. It's the game I've been waiting for ages and I'm not disappointed.

Larian Studios Detail Why The Linux Port Of Divinity Is Taking So Damn Long
15 Mar 2015 at 9:02 am UTC

I appreciate that they are not taking the easy route and are actually making their engine Linux compatible. This looks like a great game and I'm eager to play it, but I don't mind waiting for it. As FutureSuture said, there's plenty of games to keep me occupied, and one day this will be one of them.

Quoting: tobiushirogeriStarting to slow down, holy crap mate how much RAM do you have? :P
That's exactly what I thought :P
To be honest that looks more like a bug with whatever program your using to monitor processes. Using top I haven't noticed anything like this, although I also haven't noticed any slowdown after closing the game either.

I have noticed the lockups unfortunately. I thought they were to do with steam overlay, as it seemed to happen with chiev's and milestones, but disabling steam overlay didn't really help. It's not stopped me playing it, as now I just expect a 2 minute lock up every time I hit a milestone, but I'm hoping it will get fixed soon.

New Trailer Released For Open-World Puzzle Platformer Poncho

I am not a huge fan of puzzle platformers but this looks really nice. I really like the idea of an open-world platformer, and I'm loving that music.

Running the game now. The screen defaulted to a pretty weird setup due to my 2 displays, but once actually at the menu I could sort that out. It seems the screen size selection is still bugging out as it was on your livestream, but honestly can't find anything else to complain about. The game runs at around 30 fps, but feels a lot smoother, with all settings on high.

Quoting: MaelraneThen enlighten me! What other reasons are there for *solely* using Linux and not having a dual-boot system?
I own Windows XP, XP64bit, and Windows 7 (I also own OSX from a few years ago) I don't, however, dual boot and use only an Arch Linux install. I'm also not particularly concerned with the whole proprietary/open source argument, I mean I wish I cared more but then I watch the news and realise that my care could be better directed somewhere else.

I just like to use a system that I have control of, that teaches me more about how computers work, and does not either get support dropped, or seem adamant to destroy my ssd drive, i.e. that works how I want it to, for as long as I want it to.

There are plenty of reasons that people use Linux, not just the free as in cash, or free as in freedom part of it.

Overwatch is due to be released this fall (currently listed as Windows and Mac OS) so it is not outside the realm of possibility that it becomes a launch title for steam machines. It would be a nice coup over the consoles, as it is a PC exclusive.

Well, browsing through those games was certainly entertaining, but like the others have said, it's hard to distinguish between good and bad games on there. So, can anyone with a bit of experience tell me should I get 'Cheek 2 Cheek' or the mildly educational 'Hurt me plenty'?
