Hollow Knight is getting cross-platform Steam Cloud Saves to help Steam Deck

Not mentioned in their post, but there is currently a rare issue on Steam Deck where the graphics might glitch-out completely.
This isn't a Steam Deck bug, it happens on Desktop too. There's a GPU synchronisation issue that happens going between vertical screens in some areas.

Half-Life 2 getting a new UI in prep for Steam Deck

Quoting: WorMzyOh dear, I hope that it not working on Linux isn't a sign that they're planning a proton-by-default policy for the Deck, even if there's a native Linux version available. It'll hardly encourage devs to release native versions of games 'for more control' if that's the case.
No, just a builder issue compared to my local setup.

Easy Anti-Cheat not as simple as expected for Proton and Steam Deck

There's no reason for this game to have anti-cheat in the first place, it's a coop game. :/

Ray tracing with AMD RADV on Linux gets closer with the 'World's Slowest Raytracer'

Quoting: scaineIncredible progress. It was only in April that he blogged about getting a simple cube to raytrace. Now if I could only get my hands on one of those fancy 6x00XT cards that actually support hardware ray-tracing, I might be able to take advantage of the next iteration of his work!
You'll be able to even without! I'll be PR-ing support for older hardware around the same time! :)

Dear Dr. Breen, why have the "NVIDIA" seen fit to suppress our reproductive cycle? Sincerely, a Vulkan Citizen.

wrt. D9VK, yeah what Philip said, but add on D3DRS_VERTEXBLEND (and the indexed variant) for some fixed function games.

D9VK 0.13 "Hypnotoad" is out, further advancing the D3D9 to Vulkan layer for Wine

Quoting: GuestSo far I did use the d9vk-winelib-git AUR package in Arch Linux. Is this the one that I should avoid and switch instead to the mingw package?
You shouldnt really be using any d9vk AUR packages. Use something that has it built in (ie. GE Proton, wine-tkg) or install it yourself on top of a prefix.

Quoting: trawzAwesome! I was playing A Hat in Time through Proton, but the performance was quite bad. Switched to d9vk and it was incredibly fast, but I experienced some crashes. Seems those are fixed now!
hmm, strange, I have been playing HatInTime, and decided to try d9vk because there always has been some problems with textures etc.. well, level doesn't even load for me. I can hear level audio kicking in and then crash on some memory allocation error.. something about video memory.
removed d9vk and works again like before...

Specs? Logs? Anything would be helpful here :)

I literally touch nothing that could do this. I had a friend check this out and it works for him. Definitely not my issue, has to be a game bug or a mod you have installed.
