Quoting: tamodoloPlayed this game on Linux with a DS4. Latency is a grave issue with DS4 on Linux I wasn't able to solve. I'll play again on windows at a later date.

Sorry Linux, you need to create a STANDARD for how thinks works to ensure low latency at all times. Before that, I'll stick with windows that already STANDARDIZE that.
That's weird, I finished the entire game with a DS4 as well and I had no latency issue. Nor with any other games. Now I play with my DualSense controller and that works perfectly too.

Quoting: archnemRunning fine here on Arch and GTX 1080. Only issue (which sucks bad) is I was nearly finished the game with Proton, and my local/steam cloud saves are gone and I'd have to start over again. Gonna wait till the rage passes a bit...
You should be able to copy the saves over to "~/.local/share/feral-interactive/Shadow of the Tomb Raider/SaveData/[steamid]".
Hey, that worked! Downloaded from here: https://store.steampowered.com/account/remotestorage [External Link] worked like a charm, thanks!

Valve officially confirm a new version of 'Steam Play' which includes a modified version of Wine

I'm both super happy and kinda worried.

I hope developers don't go thinking they shouldn't be making native Linux versions of their games. I think it's cool that Valve has worked on a solution to bring Windows games to Linux with the least amount of hassle, but developers might think that Valve/Steam will be responsible to support any issues raised from the compatibility layer, and with some many game engines out there, I think it'll be hard to manage.

Also, as miro suggested, I hope there's some tracking mechanism that still counts games played under Linux via the modified Wine as a Linux purchase.

Dead Cells, probably one of the best Linux games this year is now out

Quoting: michaIt's an amazing game but I'm a bit sad that the SC issue issue wasn't fixed for launch. It's a known issue for quite some time now.
I agree and I hope they fix it. I'm following this: https://steamcommunity.com/app/588650/discussions/9/2788173147753146678/ [External Link]

Dead Cells, the rather good 'RogueVania' to release in full on August 7th

It's really good, but there's still issues with controller support (specifically the Steam Controller). Hope it gets fixed before release since keyboard-mapping mode isn't cutting it right now.
