Awwww, took way longer than I care to admit that this if for UT 99 and not Gold. 227 patch for Gold is a pain in the ass to get working.

Quoting: randylJust tested and a simpleQuoting: parkerlreedBioshock 1 Remastered is broken even with this. There's ZERO launcher files in the depot and it complains that it can't find LauncherPatcher.exeThat's what I'm talking about. I've tried removing and reinstalling. Verifying. Tried all the fixes. Nothing works and I'm running Windows 11. The files aren't there in the depot. Putting the executable path with -nointro %command% into the start options doesn't work.
Did they silently push an update fucking it over even more?
Verified files. Nothing there.
The one thing I haven't tried is spoofing the launcher executable because I'm not going to put that much effort into it at this point. I can execute the binary directly and that works, but throws a few warnings. That's on Windows though so I'm not sure if linking directly to the binary will work on Linux.
touch LauncherPatcher.exein the launcher folder along with the launch arguments from the main post is enough to get it working.

Quoting: EndeavourAccuracyThey really couldn't finish the game first, and have to release into Early Access, huh? It's Eduke32 based. There's a Linux binary that runs in the GOG preview. https://www.reddit.com/r/linux_gaming/comments/80wxiw/ion_maiden_a_new_3d_realms_fps_has_launched_in/dv89dcs/ [External Link]
No money left to add Steam Cloud support (or Achievements)?
I'm willing to bet Voidpoint just reused a (mildly tweaked) old 3D Realms engine.
Other than the nostalgia factor, nothing about this looks appealing.
Thanks for supporting Linux, I guess. Now, can we get more real games?
