I was looking quite hard at purchasing Black Mesa yesterday. I never did play the original Half Life, but thoroughly enjoyed HL2 back in the day. Can anyone tell me if BM has LAN multiplayer, and if so, is there PvP?

Quoting: Mountain ManAt this point, what is the best Ubuntu alternative?

Thankfully neither of my boys have expressed any interest whatsoever in these new fangled "Battle Royale" games. They're happy just playing on our LAN.

...and made by an Aussie, partly as a labour of love. If you haven't already, read the backstory about him developing this game, saving up his money, quitting his job and moving to Brazil, doing more development... it's quite interesting.
