Does AMD promise Vulkan and OpenGL 4.5 for linux right from the start? Or is this just the announcement for windows?

So far thats what happend to all racing games for Linux ..... its so sad, none of them wants my money.

Is there any racing game that will really come to linux? I don't think so, all I see are announcements.

awww why is it now 50% for the bundle( in germany ) ? When I was at work today it was off at 66% in the german store too, saying offer ends in 2 days. But when I got home 3 hours later it was only 50 % .
Well in this case I maybe better buy it on ebay?

Since M$ bought it I think most linux usres started to play minetest or something else. M$ already proved several times that they always break everything cross platform ( for exmaple skype ), so its just a matter of time until Minecraft will not work on linux anymore.

I bought/supported them in august 2013 and I really hoped they would give us a linux version much earlier, but I am very happy that this finally happened! Thanks a lot for teh linux support!
Now I have to dig around in my old emails for the activation code ;-)

Some people say its slow on linux, what gfx are you using and is it related ?
Do people with low fps use AMD or Nvidia or is it mixed ?

Let's hope its Grid2 Racer! It would be the first modern commercial racing game for Linux!

I think there are not many people out there who have the skills to do linux ports. This is a much more difficult/annoying work than making games for linux or crossplattform! You dig around in other peoples code and I am sure you see horrible things there. Only very few people can stand this for long and make things work the way he did it.

So Leszek Godlewski is indeed a very big loss for linux gaming :( . Lets hope he does at least something heavily linux gaming related now. But maybe his work will encourage other skilled linux developers to join the porting circus for a while in the future.
