It is more important than ever that we resist vendor lock-in and DRM, and fight the good fight in favor of consumer rights, pandemic or no.

Quoting: orochi_kyoYou arent some sort of "freedom fighters" as you see yourself, but just a vocal minority of people looking just for their own good...Ironic, considering us Linux users are all about freedom.
The world is facing something really big right now, your priorities is to have a copy of a game in your hard disk.

Its a shame that so many of these games are locked behind Steam, with no DRM-free options.

Few games have justified their price for me as well as RimWorld. Crazy good base game, good DLC, and endless modding. Easily worth the asking price.

I missed Linux Gaming News Punch. I was afraid that it met a premature demise. Glad I was mistaken!
Excellent episode as usual.

Is this game coming to DRM-free stores like GOG?
I'm tempted to pick this up.

Quoting: TheSHEEEPSnap only works on Ubuntu? That is definitely not the case, though snaps work best on Ubuntu. I can use them just fine on Debian, and there are instructions to use them on other distros. For example, Linux Mint.
Didn't even know that... rather weird and seems strangely against the concept.

Touching on topics like being locked into a single storeSnaps are usable without the Canonical snapcraft.io storefront, I thought. Or is that a Flatpak only thing? Because I remember Alan Pope making a big deal about it.
