Is there a chance that it runs with the steam link?
Or is that independent from that?

I am also looking forward to it.
They mentioned in a stream, that they are also working on better Multithreading for the 4.0 Update. So we can expect better performance and better utilization of Multicore CPUs.
As an owner of the Collectors Edition, I will surely start a new game with Cradle of Humanity.

"The question is: will you use it? "
Definitively not. I avoid FB since years (except WhatsApp, that is hard to avoid as it would cut me off from friends etc.)
And the kind of games they seem to offer is not my style of game. I doubt that there will be games like Stellaris, TW3 or X4.
And I prefere to pay with money instead of privacy.

According to a Stadia developer, streamers should be paying publishers and it backfired

And there the typical Internet Drama of these days is seen again (Twitter "outrage" etc.)
Calm down, he has an opinion and it is different from what the most people think about that topic. So what?

Stellaris gets spooky with the Necroids Species Pack on October 29

My time is too valuable to spend time as an unpaid tester.

Quoting: GuestI’m not getting it on launch, I never do for DLC, but it sure looks like an interesting species pack. Still I think the 2.8 release will be the time for me to finally give a try to Apocalypse.Yeah, I will also not buy on release day. Last time I did buy a game on Release day was Gothic III - it was enjoyable about 6 months later or so. And I don't make a difference between games and DLC that add more than cosmetics.

Quoting: GuestI know, but it is in the headline of "gaming on linux" and is only Win. So at least it is very old and *may* work with Wine. So not interesting enough IMHO to be the headliner.Quoting: einherjarHmm, EUII is a Windows only Version.Yes, it was explicitly stated in Liam's article.

Quoting: GuestOK, thanks. perhaps its better to go with DoW II. It is on sale too and has much better ratings.Quoting: einherjarThere is also:As far as I'm aware, the only coop with Dawn of War III is same team against an AI in generic multiplayer. No campaign coop, and nothing like Dawn of War II's The Last Stand (which is awesome, by the way).
* Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War III [External Link]
on a big discount.
Does someone know, if it is playable as coop with a friend? There is not much info about Multiplayer on Steampage. I am not interested in PvP, more in coop.
Furthermore, the GNU/Linux port is not multiplayer compatible with the Windows version, mostly likely for technical reasons that Feral cannot overcome.
While I didn't really enjoy DoW3 as a game (just a personal thing), the port itself is otherwise first rate.
