Does someone know, if it is playable as coop with a friend? There is not much info about Multiplayer on Steampage. I am not interested in PvP, more in coop.

A really great game. I am looking forward to the dlc.
And also the Linux support of egosoft is very well IMHO.

Crusader Kings III is quite a joy to learn, even if you're not particularly smart

Quoting: denyasis
Quoting: ExpalphalogThank you for this. Everybody kept raving at how amazing CKII was, so a few years ago, I picked it up on sale with all the expansions and bounced off of it hard. I didn't understand anything that was going on. I couldn't figure out how to do much, had no clue what half the icons meant...
I had the same problem, but with vocabulary. My education about feudalism (and most of Europe) was literally this... "Kings and Emperors are bad, so we left". So on top of learning what's was going on, it was like learning a new language. Retinue? Fief? Isn't Earl a tea? Duchy, that's like dutch right? Couldn't even tell you what the difference is between a king and an emperor? Do I want this guy to be a duke? And what is a duke? I struggled with even the basic concepts of things that existed in the game.

It was like playing a sci-fi 4x and being like "moon?, Planet? They look the same to me!"

I'll have to try CKII again. It seems so fun. I'll just have to take notes and make a dumb book.
Oh dammit, it is only in english. If I buy it, I will face the same problem. I surely know enough in german language, but english is another cup of tea.

Since release Crusader Kings III has seen over 18 million murders - huge patch out now

The game is on my wishlist, as it seems to be great and Paradoxs Linux support is outstanding IMHO.
Only problem is, that I do not have enough time to play it. But Winter coming....

It gives the impression that the pillory is coming back in the form of social media.
I think it has something to do with civilization and thinking in terms of the rule of law that you don't simply condemn people and publicly pillory them without having at least heard the arguments of both sides.
To carry on the accusations of people "because it will be true" without even hearing the accused I feel very uncivilized.

I will certainly not agree with either side here, but I find it deeply questionable that this is apparently done by a majority.
The mere spreading of accusations that cannot be verified by oneself is a cause for concern to me, if this happens in a way that gives the impression that it is the truth.

Does one only have one trust factor? I mean, when a player plays untrusted, does he also get a worse trust factor when playing in trusted again?

Wasteland 3 for Linux (and Mac) delayed, possible by end of 2020

At the end IMHO it is always a very high risk to be a backer as Linux user.
Big software projects often have the problem, that it gets more expensive and lasts longer than planned.

Then (in fact it should be from the beginning) prioritization starts, and guess what always gets a low prio? Supporting the system with the lowest market share.

Northgard custom maps can now be played online

The game is nice to play with mates. But sadly it does not support saving of MP games. So if you run out of time, you can only throw away your game.

I would only recommend to buy it on sale. As the price tag IMHO is too high otherwise.
