Quoting: michaldybczakhttps://www.gamingonlinux.com/articles/steam-play-proton-411-4-has-been-release-into-the-wild.15011/comment_id=164471I tested Proton 4.15 GE with Witcher 3. The mouse behaviour is broken then. Sometimes the mouse hits an invisible barrier. I do not have this problem, with the official Proton.
I tested Proton 4.15 GE (which has d9vk on by default) and Gothic 3 still is very sluggish, so I guess improvements won't come fast. I also tested it on intel and got exactly the same frame rate so it doesn't seem to be GPU related.

Does Multiplayer coop work well with steamplay?
Perhaps it is something that I can play with my son.
Is there any motivation in the game, to do things? Or is it just "Sandbox: Do something or not, doesn't really matter"?
And thanks hello games anyways. Support for Linux is always appreciated :-)

EPIC: Borderlands 3, Ghost Recon, Anno 1800, Metro Exodus, Fortnite, The Divison 2, and Cyberpunk to come
Also they have: Unreal Engine, Easy Anti Cheat. Compared to Source Engine and VAC that is superior (sad but true)
Sanctum 2 is crap in my opinion. I played it with my son - it is so boring.

Quoting: mylkaStadia starts soon, with good games announced, but ok let them start firstQuoting: einherjarIs this the next flop from Valve?which successful games do epic and stadia have?
I begin to worry. They face more and more competition (EGS, Stadia,..) but it seems, they can't manage to make a real successing game.
A lot of new games did also not come to Steam. And the Valve Index is in the topsellers, but it is a niche product...
fortnite and............?
valve still got CS, DOTA, TF2

Sales have never been good for my wallet. Because of sales (and my unrestrainedness) I buy more games than I have time to play.

Trans people do not have better abilities to identify, what others think or mean. That is something everyone learns.
Perhaps there is another correlation, namely self-fullfilling-prophecy. If you are sure, that others disrespect you, you will always find a proof for that, if you search eager enough.
Today we often have the situation, that the most outraged people get their will. And that is what really concerns me. The arguments get often non-relevant.
In my opinion these "getting outraged/offended" industrie in social media is often a strategy to oppress the opnion of others. And of course it really helps, to get arguments in the background.

Quoting: NezchanNo, that is your opinion, not a fact!Quoting: einherjarThe corollary of that is that trans people (and other minority groups) have a hell of a lot more experience encountering this stuff and will thusly be a lot better at identifying it than people who don't, by virtue of them encountering it all the damn time.Quoting: NezchanNothin' a trans person liked better than being lectured about what isn't transphobic, lol.Trans people don't have the monoply to decide, what one is allowed to say and what not. Also none trans people are allowed to have an opinion, different from the opinion of trans people (and vice versa). This is not the ending of the age.
Just because someone is outraged/offended, does not automatically mean, this person is right.

Quoting: NezchanJust because you lable someone's concerns as "just offended over nothing" doesn't mean you're right.I did not do that. Please do not quote me wrong.

OMG, I could not find any transphobic thing in the screenshoted discords on knowyourmeme.
Is this transphobic: "yeah if you're trying to decide your child is trans at birth you have mental problems and probably shouldn't be a parent imo"
I think no! It is true, even if not polite.
parents who want to impose their way of life on their children are a danger to the well-being of their children.
That is true for trans people as well as for any other people. It contains the high risk to harm the children a lot.
As a parent you must always try to teach your kids everything they need to find their own way in life. You don't have the right to force your way of life to them.
If someone is trans and this is his way of life to be happy - fine! But this does not include the right, to force being trans on his/their children. The children have the right to decide this for themselves when they got old enough.
This is somewhat ironic (in a bitter way). If "hardcore catholic" parents decide for their children, they have to be like them - of course this is called biggotery by the LGBT people (and thats it). But the other way round it is ok?
This argument killing "outrage industrie" sometimes reminds me of the dark ages in germany.
And to be honest, a game is a game! It is fantasy/fiction, not the real world! Why should a character in a fantasy world not be anything, that the context of the fantasy story needs?
Would this kind of people have gotten that much power in the 90s, I would not have had this much fun with e.g. duke nukem 3d.
So let the freedom of gaming not be destroyed!

I do not vote for these things anymore. I have the feeling that they give a shit and it is a waste of time.
