Price and value of the game is definitely part of my ratings and reviews. This is IMO deserved, they should have not cut price so soon after release ....
Hmm, but every one looking at the game a few month after release, will see a negative rating. And this does not help these customers. They want to know if the game is good if it is fun to play. They do not care, if someone thinks, the game was lowered in price to early.
So it is a point of view. If I want to inform me, if the game is fun to play - what does the reviews help me, that rate the game down, just because it was going cheap to early (and this is just a feeling of the ones, who bought it at a higher price).
The act of lowering prematurely is still present. People who bought it early were paying for a service they didn't get (exclusivity in exchange for money, they lack money and exclusivity, theft?). This is not some subjective metric, you can compare all AAA games in last several years and look at how long it should remain at the top price. Weren't last Battlefield and Fallout just weeks after release hugely discounted? Right there, that is anti-consumer and in my opinion should reflect rating of a game, because if they pulled such scam once, people should expect to pull it again and this (rating and reviews) can warn new customers against scummy practices.

I am for everything being on-topic, because seeing how Valve is incompetent - saying DRM and EULA are OFF-TOPIC and not part of a game (WTF? DRM is literally part of a game and EULA must be accepted before playing, so, in my view, part as well). I don't trust them to not **** up, because they have several times already.
Hey, I think you miss the main point, nothing is censored, you can see everything and you can decide, if you want these reviews to be counted or not!

And by the way, I shall give Eizo a bad rating for my Monitor eh? It got much cheaper, since I bought it ;-)

Seems like there's no hope for BattlEye support within Steam Play

I've personally had success running EAC-enabled games with the easy-to-use Intel GVT passthrough tech:

How did you exactly do that? I tried to run a Win8.1 Pro with GPU Passthrough - but didn't work.
Do I need a second GPU for that, or can I just give the GPU to the VM?

Would be nice for my son - he wants to play Fortnite, but doesnt run on Ubuntu...
GVT-g is shared GPU passthrough, meaning only 1 GPU but it's only the Intel graphics that is supported. But recent Intel graphics is good enough for Fortnite.

What is the specs of the machine?
It's an AMD Ryzen 1800X with 1070Ti...

"...the former Executive Vice President at Electronic Arts... "

Doesn`t sound to me, that there will be a Linux Game coming out of this company.

Would be nice though, as i like Paradox and their games.

That's what I was hoping to see on the list. :( It's probably the #1 Linux release that I'm looking forward to at this time.

Quoting: einherjarHmm, to be honest, there is not one title, that is interesting for me.
What type of games appeal to you?
It is titles like:
* Deus EX MD
* The Witcher 1-3 (actually I play TW2)
* Stellaris
* CS:GO
* Looking forward to X4 on Linux

and of course lots more. But my time is very limited, so I only choose the really good ones (for me). I have bought lots of games and never had time to play them....

GOG are ending their 'Fair Price Package program', soon after letting staff go

You're confusing "supporting linux" with "treating linux like a first-class citizen." Discord and Epic do not support linux, they don't offer any linux versions of games. GOG supports linux, but doesn't treat it like a first-class citizen. Valve does, but then again they have (or had, at least) a platform that basically prints money.
Hmm, I said really support Linux. Actually you do not get all games with Linux Versions in GOG store and I can't see them ever releasing a Galaxy Linux client.
And they do not release their own games on Linux. That is not really supporting Linux. It's some kind of "half hearted" Linux support. But I never said it's no Linux support.

Quoting: damarrinGOG operates in a different environment to Valve. Linux is completely negligible in their native Poland, they are almost certainly disinterested in Linux themselves and the Witcher 2 debacle was more than enough to turn them away from Linux users almost completely (I think it’s very probable the Galaxy no show on Linux is also due to that) They’re also a publicly-traded company and anything they do that doesn’t bring them profits is a huge liability to their share price. Their shareholders are Polish, so they don’t care about the Linux market at all and any actions to support us will be viewed as nonsensical.
Hmm, so if they don't care for the Linux Community, why should I care for them?

They operate in an international market. So it is not that interesting, if the polish people do not care about Linux.

It would be nice, if they would care about us, but sadly they don't. As a German I would like to support a european company. But not in this way. No TUX no BUX ;-)
