Otherwise it looks cool - hopefully they have game studios supporting it, otherwise it will go the steam machine route I think.

...and the top end has an anti-glare screen too...That should be what every model has. It is a portable thing, where you can not control the light in your surrounding.

X3: Farnham's Legacy now available for Linux with Linux fixes for other games live

It is a really great game, but it was a bit to learn to come into the game. I watched a few video tutorials.
So if you seek for a start in X-games, I think X4 is good to do this. You can play the story lines or just use it as a big sandbox. I have lots of fun with it, building an empire in space with only a bit of story line playing.

Quoting: AvikarrI have never got into the "X" series. I like these kind of complicated games, so I think it will be great for me. Can someone recommend, where should I start first with this game? X3: Reunion, X3:Terran Conflict, X3:Albion Prelude, or X3:Farnham's Legacy? My first X-Game was X4: Foundations.

Perhaps they use too much Microsoft Software, so that it works that awful? ;-)
But anyways, it is good to have as much choice as possible. I just ask myself, when will Valve get it's ass off the couch and offers cloud gaming and game "flatrates"?

The 'Wooting two HE' sounds like a great analog RGB keyboard to keep an eye on

This KB does really look nice. I actually think about buying one. Cool idea and at least on the pictures and videos it looks also well made.
On the other hand, my Cherry MX Board runs well and I am also thinking about an ErgoDox. Nice to have the choice between really well made Linux supporting devices.

I always thought, that the VR Kit is just a dump display and that all the compute stuff is done on the PC anyways.
I mean, it is just to small screens, isn't it? With sensors of course, but the computing and rendering, I thought, is done on the PC.
The tracking and stuff is done with the lighthouses and that data is to be computed on the PC, so that he game knows about it.

I played Mass Effect: Andromeda
But honestly, after 17 hours I stopped playing. The game is boring, the characters are pale and faceless - simply boring. The story telling is mediocre at best. The missions are repetitive and again - boring. Fetch this, bring it to there blah blah and the mates are so uninteresting that I would give a fuck if they die.
Compared to Deus Ex or The Witcher series, this one is anything but a good story game for me.
The game and the setting could have great potential, but I was very disappointed.
The Mass Effect games are all hyped for the great story telling - this was my first try of a Mass Effect game and I am happy, that it only was about 8€ for me.
At least it looked great and I had a few hours of fun.

Prime is too cheap to prevent cheating that way. But it will reduce it a small bit perhaps.

This "patents" that do not even describe a method how to exactly do it, are utter bullshit.

Quoting: rustybroomhandleProcessing Vulkan ShadersCan easily be done on Valves servers. The target is exactly known, so nothing has to be done on the device itself.
