Garry Newman should just go back to making music.
What we're talking about here is just gossip. Communications as they are now, we can gossip at the speed of light. I think it is fine to provide information as it is known, and the human race will just need to learn to squelch its gossiping tendencies online.

Compare and contrast this with what Epic is doing. Well, they bought a developer. Some say Valve is not doing anything, not responding to Epic. It sure looks like they are doing quite a lot. I would argue that hardware development is more difficult than software development.
I look forward to fellow Linux users' first impressions with this. If there is enough content available, I might pick one up myself.

I would be curious to know the percentage of Windows games over time which have received platinum, gold, etc., ratings. So, we can see the trend of compatibility, and possibly how much farther we would have to go. I would be happy to see 80% compatibility, considering the 80/20 rule.

SiNKR is one of the few games here that I actually have. It was interesting at first, but as with many puzzle games, the way they increase the difficulty is simply by adding more elements. So, it's the same basic puzzle, but you have to hold more information in your head at once in order to come up with a solution, or just do trial-and-error.
As a software developer, I have to hold a lot in my head in order to follow the code and get to the root of a bug. I become less interested in it in my puzzle games. I start to think of ways I could write a program to manage the game's complexity for me instead of trying to solve the puzzle itself.

I noticed some time ago, that if a developer wants to publish on Steam, they at least need a Windows port of their game. I think they should relax that requirement. If you want to publish for just Linux and/or Mac, why not?

I tried this game many years ago. I found it excruciatingly difficult, and could not master the use of the grappling hook. I don't know how people can handle it.

The microtransactions seem to match that of Path of Exile, except that PoE is free to play. It is unfortunate that developers have realized that simply creating a game and selling it for a fixed price is much less lucrative than games-as-a-service, but here we are.
I had interest in buying something in PoE to throw a few bucks their way for the enjoyment, but when I saw the cost of the digital clothing, I baulked. Most everything is several dollars, and many are tens of dollars. I think it was $24 for some ethereal wings. That do nothing but look nice. WOW!
Fortunately, I can enjoy the game without the make-up doll aspect. But, it would still be fun to customize your character.

Looking at their kickstarter, they talk about massive end-game content. This is something I wonder about in games. Even Path of Exile talks about end-game content. Now I've played quite a lot of hours, and I'm only just towards the end of act three, of I think ten acts. It seems like a huge story. I do not understand why people wish to rush through it all to get to the ending and then do other stuff rather than play the actual game. I must be old skool.
