Why We Shouldn't Accept Bad Linux Ports

I'd rather developers not port their games at all, than make ports that work for a fraction of their customers on Linux. It just makes Linux look bad to potential users.

Wasteland 2 RPG Finally Offers A Linux Version As Promised

Quoting: AnonymousThe $15, $30 and $50 tiers don't have "early playable beta access" as a reward.
I think they really dropped the ball with how they handled beta access. Once they launched into early access they should have given all backers a key and not asked for extra money(There was an upgrade option).
Quoting: LapinoplIts still not "available on my platform", any ideas why?
Have you tried restarting Steam?

To be fair all L4D maps are included in L4D2 now, even if the gameplay is slightly different.

Looks like there is a Bug in the Linux version. They are uploading a Hotfix apparently, in the meantime you can follow this:
"
Hey Folks,

There is a casing issue with the latest patch on Steam. There is a Hotfix going up very soon, but if you wish to play now please follow the following steps:

1) Right click on Shadowrun Returns and click 'Properties'
2) Select the Local Files tab and click 'Browse Local Files'
3) In the revealed folder, go to Shadowrun_Data/StreamingAssets/standalone
4) Rename the Seattle folder to seattle.
5) For Dragonfall users, rename the Berlin folder to berlin

We apologize for the inconvenience to our Linux users.

Great article as always. Olympia Rising's setting made it an insta-back for me :D Although having a Heroine in story taking place in Ancient Greece? Homer's bones must be shaking. :P
