It's surprisingly addictive.
[Edit]
It does not limit the framerate, so if you don't enforce a limit or vsync, be prepared to your GPU going all out. For me, it helped to set these launch options via steam:
MESA_VK_WSI_PRESENT_MODE=fifo vblank_mode=3 %command%

I watched the trailer, and if I didn't get it wrong, the label with the ability name during an attack moves towards the attacking character. I found that extremely confusing because I'd expect the label, when it moves at all, to move towards the target.

Then I guess I'll keep my eyes on this one. Won't back, though, since I've been burned too often on Kickstarter already.

Quoting: EhvisYou'd be wrong. First game allowed that, so unless they paddled back, there are no limitations.Oh, really? I haven't played any of their games but found a thread on reddit or something where they said it wasn't possible. Thanks for letting me know.

Quoting: TevurHmm, I don't know... first round, crashed to desktop after 15 Minutes...I had that, too, a few months ago, and the cause I identified was some library linked into the Godot binary. Can't quite remember what it was, but the solution for me was switching to Proton + the Windows version.
Will try some more, but not a good first impression...

While it does look interesting and I'm all for relationship building, it seems that we can't expect any queer romance options given the developer is based in China. :sad:
European Consumer Organization goes after multiple publishers for their in-game currency

I like it. One problem I personally have with in-game or in-app currencies is that once I've purchased some, my mind attaches less value to this. It's more like "Well, you have this stuff now at your disposal, and if you use it, you're not spending actual money because the purchase was X days away, so it's basically free now". It's different if I buy this currency specifically for a certain transaction I'm planning to do immediately.
So, this additional step of indirection, of abstraction lessens the blow. I don't get paid in coins/gems/…, I don't use them in my day-to-day life, so I don't "feel" what they're worth.

Quoting: ShabbyXLike, other than for Steam (and maybe a few downloaded software off the net), you (normal users, not devs) don't really have _executables_ lying around in your $HOME. Before, we were protected from viruses mostly through the mere fact that we don't log in as root (unlike windows), and our executables are only root-writable.I don't understand how that helps. If you as an attacker are able to write on the disk, you only need user privileges to write an executable anywhere under $HOME, mark it as executable and run it. You can even add it to a user-specific startup-script to execute it after each reboot. Is there anything I am missing?
