I still have a Athlon X4 860K running. Just found out it very recently had its tenth birthday. Congratulations! :tongue:
Thought about upgrading many times, but after letting it settle a few days, I always found I don't need it. The only thing coming to my mind which would really benefit from an upgrade is Factorio I guess.

I've played the game a while back, and I really loved the legacy aspect because I suck at platformers and the likes, so just growing a bit stronger with each run made me beat it eventually. Ever since then, I've longed for this mechanic in other games but, so far, didn't find any except some relatively small-scale upgrades that stay between runs.
Also loved the different traits the characters had.

It's surprisingly addictive.
[Edit]
It does not limit the framerate, so if you don't enforce a limit or vsync, be prepared to your GPU going all out. For me, it helped to set these launch options via steam:
MESA_VK_WSI_PRESENT_MODE=fifo vblank_mode=3 %command%

I watched the trailer, and if I didn't get it wrong, the label with the ability name during an attack moves towards the attacking character. I found that extremely confusing because I'd expect the label, when it moves at all, to move towards the target.

Then I guess I'll keep my eyes on this one. Won't back, though, since I've been burned too often on Kickstarter already.

Quoting: EhvisYou'd be wrong. First game allowed that, so unless they paddled back, there are no limitations.Oh, really? I haven't played any of their games but found a thread on reddit or something where they said it wasn't possible. Thanks for letting me know.

Quoting: TevurHmm, I don't know... first round, crashed to desktop after 15 Minutes...I had that, too, a few months ago, and the cause I identified was some library linked into the Godot binary. Can't quite remember what it was, but the solution for me was switching to Proton + the Windows version.
Will try some more, but not a good first impression...

While it does look interesting and I'm all for relationship building, it seems that we can't expect any queer romance options given the developer is based in China. :sad:
European Consumer Organization goes after multiple publishers for their in-game currency

I like it. One problem I personally have with in-game or in-app currencies is that once I've purchased some, my mind attaches less value to this. It's more like "Well, you have this stuff now at your disposal, and if you use it, you're not spending actual money because the purchase was X days away, so it's basically free now". It's different if I buy this currency specifically for a certain transaction I'm planning to do immediately.
So, this additional step of indirection, of abstraction lessens the blow. I don't get paid in coins/gems/…, I don't use them in my day-to-day life, so I don't "feel" what they're worth.
