My guess is that they're using qemu under containers (so you get a binary stable user-space to run the virtualization stuff)

Hope it improves, I'm a fan of the original skylines but got disappointed at the whole "made in unreal demo" that turned up just like a skylines 1 + mods looking version :sick:

I don't understand the bad vkd3d-proton performance everybody is complaining about.Try to play Once human using dx12 while teleporting across regions. On windows, no problem. On linux, major stuttering

Don't fool yourselves, the new .NET doesn't have UI support that what's needed for wine. No proper winforms or WPF for that matter. Also, the new UI framework MAUI quietly dropped linux support and has no plans at all to have it done, so .NET for linux is server-side only officially unless you build a separate UI for the app using a thirdy-party framework
