I played it maybe 2 years ago already ? From itchio i think. It's really nice actually, very shallow too, but fun enough to worth your time.
Strap in and prepare for more destruction, Brigador Killers is on the way

I love Brigador, one on my favorite game from the last years, really. I didn't find the controls difficult, and i still play it from time to time with the "normal" controls (tank like, i think it's called)...
I hope the new game will keep the free roaming feels of Brigador, and that the story won't make it too linear.

I recommand very much to play with the mod Neolithic, making the game quite awesome as a survival-building-crafting experience.

Alright, i tried it. And Refunded.
I didn't dislike, but i didn't like neither.
It's way too close to a "very simplistic RTS", with quite poor controls over the troops, and even on PC i can see it's for tactile pads at first : trying to move my heroes in the middle of the melee is hard, as the cursor seems to often target an enemy instead of the ground.
Could be nice with this visual and idea of a RTS but with tower defense mind, if it was actually a PC game with a deeper gameplay.

The Linux demo for 'Eagle Island', a very slick action-adventure rogue-lite is out and it's extremely impressive

Ha... A world full of new creatures, unique, etc, says the voice. And the picture shows a guy killing them all. Great !
Game seems nice, anyway.

Ha ! Now !? I just deleted it from my hard drive last week, haha !
I started to (re)play it intensively a few months ago and it was really great, i love the feeling of the game and gameplay.
Updated engine is nice, but i'd hugely prefer a content update. New enemies, weapons, maps, objectives...
Anyway, i'm glad to see it's not dead yet.

Yep, it's probably the "best" of its kind.
I played it first when it was a more on less confidential beta, and it was already great.
