BulletRage might just be the most over the top twin-stick shooter I've ever played

I'm in too, and LiamD scored better than me... However we are both at 2K+ and the best one is 10K+, haha !

The game it really intense in a good way, hard but not unfair. I really needed to be fully aware when fighting the two bosses.

I don't like fast paced twin stick shooters, i much prefer games like Brigador (what a gem this one), but this one for some reason, i enjoyed a lot.

The settings is appealing to me too, with the post-alien-apo TV Show stuff.

The trailer is indeed really well done, it's not just some images put together, there is a real direction.

I don't do much Kickstarter, but here i'm tempted...

It's a nice "little" game.

The dev was really fast responding to our testing feedbacks yesterday, when we were pushing him to go Linux (i say "we" as i assume i was not alone, i don't know actually).

It took him less than one day to go from "maybe Linux" to "officially Linux".

If you understand french, this video may be usefull to see what the game has to offer :

About Arch being second, around me and also myself, we went from Mint to Manjora recently, and we are pleased by the result. It seems to be "better" for gaming, so far (same games on Mint sometimes didn't run, or with some issue, while they do without any trick on Manjaro).

Also it seems to be growing, from what i've witnessed. So maybe with time, Arch (and derived) >= Ubuntu (and derived) ?

It's on my radar, this one. Could be great, if done right. "If", like always...

When it went out, i was really not impressed, and even gave a negative review on Steam. It was blend, empty, buggy, and very quickly boring and repetitive.

But after several major updates, it's a completely different game, much more balanced and deep, than the very raw and shallow Alpha 4 or 5 i first tried.

They said it's only about 8 hours to reach the end game, less if you know what you are doing. That's not a lot for this kind of game. Not sure i'm hyped anymore.

QuoteThere's about 8 hours of gameplay, less when you know the game very well.

You can win the game and finish the story. Story is told through intro (120s), outro (75s) and by captain during the gameplay. You start with no drillship, very soon you get small 1-segment drillship, which you extend.

Me, 5.6 GB, with sound, but my whites are very bright ingame, and no options managed to tune that. Annoying, but still very playable, and many full servers to find people to play with, nice.
