Quoting: ShmerlOh, an interesting tidbit. Firefox started supporting VAAPI hardware accelerated video decoding both on Wayland and X11 now. But it won't work on Nvidia blob due to it lacking dmabuf support. That's quite interesting, could you elaborate on that please ?

Blizzard has Activision releases, Steam gets EA subscriptions plans, and now Stadia is gonna have UPlay subscriptions ?
This is quite a mess of an ecosystem, hopefully projects such as Lutris will soon be really useful as Linux gets better supported on different platforms.

Usually people try the best to keep the games working there, it might be worth a shot.

Quoting: fagnerlnSome Linux games on GoG can't run anymore as it uses outdated libs, needing expertise to set the environment. As they don't support Linux in their Galaxy client (don't even allow to download). I'll never buy anything on GoG, until they support us like we deserve. Steam > GoG, f*** this DRM philosophy.Have tried checking Lutris installers ?

Almost finished Death Stranding.
Also Star Citizen 3.10 is Live, gonna meet up with the gang, the "Linux Users Group", we're an organisation dedicated to play SC on Linux and help each other.
Very interested in playing the Braid anniversary update and Horizon Zero Dawn when it works well with Proton.

Some of us file wine bug reports for regression or build custom wine builds to get the most out of it.
I think by now we're almost a couple hundred total, just a few active though but getting there.

What about vkd3d, it might be confusing for users who wants out of the box dx12 app support as well.

Death standing! :O
Was a pain to cet working ans keep it working.
Proton 5.0-9_ next branch made the 1.0 work flawlessly but 505 Games pushed a 1.01 update on Friday with fresh a 5GB file that breaks the game under proton. (Reverting that file works with the 1.01 executable)
