If Valve considers Debian as an Ubuntu alternative there's MX-Linux as an easy to install/newer kernels and drivers/newer apps in repos Debian-based distro.
Also the devs behind MX and antiX would probably work with Valve in a smoother way than Canonical.

The only downside, is that like other previous Total War ports the online multiplayer is not cross-platform

So while the Epic Store doesn't have a Linux version currently on their roadmap, it seems they are at least willing in some way to support a community effort of getting it running on Linux
It sounds so like "let's throw some bread crumbs to those annoying pigeons, er, penguins"
After all these years we're still with the leftovers from the Windows world :(

Hi all.

As far as I understand (from Wikipedia mainly) Mesa is sort of a translator between APIs and graphics drivers, is that it?
AMD's opensource drivers are included in the kernel, so a newer kernel will bring newer drivers. But what about Mesa? Is it updated independently?
