Give those guys a break. They managed to pull out the Linux version just with 1 week after steam community asked for it. They have patch in the works to fix the issues as said in the same thread in steam community.

Nice, i can finally try Hurtworld. Always wanted to get that game but the price was way too much for a game that doesn't even advertise linux support. Rest of the games i either have or don't care about

Square Enix is the publisher it seems. Also theres no system requirements for Linux client yet, so this is not a good indicator really

Quoting: natis1Also updating or downgrading Nvidia driver version at least on Linux can cause the steam survey to retrigger on Linux (and there's probably similar problems on Windows too) so it's not exactly a hard survey to "game."i upgrade the nvidia driver all the time when latest version comes out, yet i have only been getting a survey prompt 3 times during all those years steam on linux.

I think there has to be some sort of error in the data.. lets say that 3% as it was before was 20 million people (it was probably more though). Now it should be 20 million people more just out of nowhere... haven't heard any news that some governments switched to linux fulltime. Maybe some African countries got into internet the first time? i still doubt it would be that huge gain though.

Quoting: tuubii made a screenshot.. and indeed theres a blocky shadows.. never noticed them before :D cause i usually dont stop on the road :DQuoting: XpanderI went shadow hunting last night, and true enough, if I drove right next to the snowbank in Sweden I did find some shadows with blocky edges. Never noticed them before either. They seem to be most noticeable in the cabin and dashboard views.Quoting: Linasi can make a screenshot tomorrow if someone doesnt beat me...Quoting: liamdaweWow, how low are you settings? Mine looks nothing like that. This is supposed to be Ultra. I would really like to see a screenshot from a similar location. The screenshot is Värmland, Sweden, Elgsjön (Sprint), Midday / Sunny.
but yeah i dont remember seeing such a blocky shadows
This doesn't mean that the screenie in the article is fake like Linas suggested. Environmental shadows look smooth enough if they're even a bit further away (or if you're actually moving). They wouldn't look blocky in that particular view.
Sorry, I didn't think of making that screenshot. Or checking my settings. I blame the flu and the fever. It did look similar to what Linas saw though.

I haven't played a lot of it yet (Rust takes all my gaming time :D ), so much stuff in this game and its really cheap also.
Only thing that i did not like about it is the feedback you get from shooting somebody, theres no kickback or no feeling that you are shooting a gun. Car handling could use some tweaks also but its not that bad, works how it is. Overall seems to have tons of content.
Some Gameplay which doesnt cover even 5% of the content :D
