i tried with a friend when it released or few days after that. multiplayer wasn't working. we were on the lobby, could chat fine, but couldnt start the server and joining other servers made it download lots of items( i guess player made blueprints) once it finished it failed to join a server. havent tried the game since.

other than that it looks pretty good but i dont like singleplayer in those types of games.

Quoting: tuubiCan anyone confirm this actually fixes the performance problems with 375.20? I see several regression fixes mentioned in the release notes, but nothing that seems relevant.

I'll test myself as soon as this appears in the PPA.
did not have any performance issues with 375.20 so i can't really help in that matter.
installed the driver though, will start testing

edit: Deus Ex runs same as before. pretty bad performance in places :(

Albion Online, the sandbox MMO with Linux support has become even bigger

Quoting: MaelraneFar too less PVP for my taste (yes I played it)

You can basically accomplish most of the stuff without entering a PVP area at all. Not thrilling nor fun to me (and I am no ganker at all, I just like a harsh world like e.g. Mortal Online)

PVP is basically all I like in multiplayer games. Not the "versus" part, but the scaling part. I mean, most PVE games tend to become themeparks. The economy breaks etc.

That's the whole reason why wars exist in real live as well, to be able to (re)build.
totally agree. PvE is fine, but it will be too grindy at some point. Scripted AI becomes annoying cause nothing changes. PvP is where the meat is, everything is changing constantly and you never know what you are facing with today or tomorrow.

One of the reasons i havent bought intel yet. I just dont want the freaking IGP. Don't like it for my Desktop. Why waste all that space? give more cores instead. Yes intel has those without IGP also but much higher priced.

Can't wait! Really want to upgrade my CPU already.. it will be Zen or Kaby Lake probably. Depends who wins the price/perf ratio and gives me most cores for my money :)
