I recommend Pathfinder: Kingmaker. It is 35% off now (I checked the Royal edition), which is the highest it's been according to isthereanydeal. It's an excellent RPG, what I would call the most genuine spiritual sequel to Baldur's Gate that has ever been made. They're making the sequel to that game now, but not sure when it will be out. Pathfinder has a native Linux release, and it works really well. Apparently the original release was messy and buggy, but that isn't the case any more, it worked great when I played it a year ago or so.

I miss the Humble Bundle of yesteryear (err, many years), that had games themselves, and they were DRM Free too. That is why I bought games there. This current version of HB is irrelevant.

Quoting: GuestA fully Steam-exclusive bundle, while as far as I know all proposed games have DRM-free versions available?Exact same problem I have with them. At this point I don't really understand why they exist, if their only purpose is to sell steam keys.
If I wanted to buy Steam keys I would actually browse Steam, not Humble Bundle…

And yet they have fuckscrewed every single of those game they have 'released'. They should be deeply ashamed of themselves. I look forward to the day they go out of business. If there is any talent in that shack, they'll find other jobs. Maybe they'll make something worth a damn too then.

What happens when these useless hacks run out of classic games to ruin? They can't make anything themselves. Not that they are capable of doing a good job with the classics either, but that sadly doesn't prevent people from throwing money at them (so they can ruin some more games).

Quoting: GuestSeeing that the card I bought for 319$ about 4 months ago is now selling for 800$, I think I'll be passing on any new graphics cards for a long time. Prices are just absurd.Haha, wow. That is nuts!
The best Linux distros for gaming in 2021

Kinda strange to mention Ubuntu but not the better alternative Linux Mint. Since starting with Mint, I've never had the urge to distro hope again. It simply works.
Steam and all their DRM can jump off a cliff tho.

Wasteland 3 gets a big patch with a new mode to enjoy the story

I've not followed Wasteland 3, and was worried about the M$ acquisition. How has it turned out? Is it good? Works well on Linux?

Quoting: TheRiddickIf you've played 'Pillars of Eternity 2'I played Pillars of Eternity 2 a lot, and it worked well? (apart from the many and increasingly long loading screens)

What have you been playing recently? We've been tinkering with a Raspberry Pi 4

Quoting: CFWhitmanThere's no challenge involved with getting Bioshock Infinite running. The "native" version (I believe it's actually a wrapped Windows binary) for Linux seems to run perfectly for me.Presumably that's the shteam version shackled by DRM, which will never get onto my computer :) To their shame, GOG does not have a Linux version. However, I installed Lutris and had a go. Looked like everything would go well. But upon launching the game, it first crashed once the intros were done. Trying again, nothing shows up besides a black screen after the intros. It's not in fullscreen either as I can see the bottom bar in Mint. Something is clearly amiss :-/
