It remains on my wish list, to be bought once the Linux port is released.

I've been really interested in AI-upscaled graphics in retro games, so I'm currently making my way through Quake 2 using this texture/skin pack: https://github.com/Calinou/quake2-neural-upscale [External Link]

No 10nm-based Intel CPUs for desktop users until 2021, 7nm-based CPUs delayed

This is really not ideal. Intel may be the Goliath in the story, and their business practices may have been shady in the past, but let's not forget that Intel has delivered day 1 support on Linux consistently for ages and pretty much drove Mesa development for the past decade minus the last year or two. Intel has a strong opensource portfolio and respects the opensource community a hell of a lot more than nVidia or even AMD does (day 1 support in a stable kernel for new GPUs when AMD???).

Linux support for ASUS ROG laptops is coming along nicely

Quoting: DevastatoriusGood news.
Hard to find good gaming laptop with good linux support.
If you're in the market for a gaming laptop that runs perfectly on Linux, check out the MSI Bravo 15. I bought one two weeks ago and have Arch Linux running perfectly on it. Plus, it has both an AMD CPU and GPU (RX5500m), and both the integrated Vega 8 and RX5500m work perfectly. No need for any proprietary drivers. Oh and did I mention, it actually comes with Intel WiFi? Excellent machine.

It's great to see EA back on Steam, but as long as the Origin dependency exists, I'm still not interested.

They should release it as a free demo as-is.

It's a little bit snarky for you to post a screenshot of it running in Chromium after Mozilla made the donation that made it possible, Liam!
