Intel 'very committed' to their discrete graphics cards, Core Ultra 200HX and H Series CPUs announced

Honestly, I think Intel could really be onto something. They can integrate GPU and CPU design and really move the needle. AMD could use some real competition in this space, and right now, it seems like Intel is pulling ahead. I wonder if they will get the next Steam Deck or console contract at this rate.

Incredible retro FPS Selaco adds a new 'Special Campaign' in another huge update

Quoting: CatKiller
Quoting: PyrateI wonder if I should get it now, or maybe it'll get an even deeper sale later on. Won't be playing it anytime soon anyways, just want to grab it before the price increase when it leaves early access.
Personally, I won't buy any game in Early Access. I'm happy to buy this when it gets officially released, and at full price since it's got Linux support.
Selaco could call itself done and leave early access now, and it would still be better than any FPS released this year.

Valve/Steam should take a slightly smaller cut for games that don't use a launcher. Ie 29% instead of 30%.

Fedora KDE gets approval to be upgraded to sit alongside Fedora Workstation

KDE keeps leaping forward while Gnome spins its wheels. The Gnome Foundation needs to really get it together. A large part of the Linux community is looking at the stagnation and financial trouble going on there with eyes wide open. It would be a shame for mismanagement to kill a project that's pushed the Linux desktop forward, and is a key source of competition for KDE to compare itself against. I see this as Fedora admitting that Gnome is a bit stalled at the moment.

I actually like the subdued nature of Selaco. I don't think it's political correctness at work. Keeping the female protagonist the way she is would be for the best, as her appearance is actually realistic. The purple blood fits with the techno-futuristic setting - ie are these mutants or engineered beings that you're fighting against? I don't think the blood isn't red because the developers don't want to offend anyone, I think it's a stylistic choice. There's nothing woke in the game at all, and it clearly isn't shoving any kind of agenda down your throat. I'd be the first to complain if it was, as those kinds of games are nauseating. It's just a fun experience that anyone can relate to, and it happens to be a bit PG but that works for the game and its setting.

This is great to see. It's always good to know that a game is not just verified, but ran well enough for the Deck to win!
