This is great news, authough it makes me wonder something.
How will they add in the opengl support from ResidualVM to ScummVM? Cause ResidualVM doesn't support the surface bliting that ScummVM does, for Residual you need to write opengl code. Maybe they'll make a generic renderer that will work the way ScummVM is expected to?
Another worry I have, is how this is going to affect my fork (NovelVM), i originally began it based on ScummVM, then I switched to ResidualVM for the opengl support (and cause the game i'm working on has 3d). Now i'm going to have to switch back to ScummVM. And unlike last time, I have a lot more than 5 commits.

A French court has ruled that Valve should allow people to re-sell their digital games

What if people could only resell their games once, and only games purchased on steam, so games you activated from a dvd, or you got from a giveaway wouldn't count. And you wouldn't be able to circulate the same copy of the game over half the world. Maybe also give both valve and devs a cut from these sales. I think that would solve most of the problems people here have with this.

This Luxtorpeda project looks interesting, when i get home from work today (assuming i remember to do so), i might make packages for it to add support for some games which are fully linux compatible (and infact if you install them and open their folder, you'll find either a jar, a html game, or a swf file), but are listed as windows only. Like for example Spiral Knights.
Also i wonder, will the dev be adding ScummVM support through Luxtorpeda, or would that be as seperate project.
And one last question i'm hoping someone could figure out, is there any way to add aditional games to the whitelist ? Maybe by editing some file ?

One thing i'm still confused about, will the Devs who release Stadia versions release those version for the general Linux gaming public ? Or will they stat just on Stadia ?
