Storm United, The Beautiful Online FPS Has Another Update, Just Awesome

Unfortunately, no UE4 game works yet on OSS drivers (not tried this one, though, I have the feeling this would be wasted money).
It's the worst kind of crash : gpu hang, the only way I found to get out of one is to connect myself via ssh, and kill X. However, dpm won't recover after such a hang.
I hope it will get sorted out quickly, before the bulk of UE4 games starts kicking in :-)

Thank you for your review.
I personally have been using a R.A.T. 9 for at least five years now. Its look may be a little bit futuristic, but I love it :-)
However, you need to edit your Xorg.conf in order to avoid any problem with it (the mode button acts as three buttons, which are not released when selected, and confuses X. The feature I love with this mouse is the thumb horizontal scroll wheel. It is awesome once you are accustomed to it, but needs the X.org.conf remap too.
I created a python driver to configure the sensitivity, it can be found on my Github account (MayeulC), together with the necessary adjustments to the X conf. I have to get the power indicator merged with upower, too, once I know where to put the code.
The other equipment I use is also a Saitek one, since I always found their products amazing. It's the Cyborg V7 keyboard. The programmable buttons don't work, but are available via a hidraw device. If anyone know how to make a macro software (how to talk to X, etc), please drop me a word.
About the keyboards, I don't particularly like mechanical ones, as long as the build quality of the membranes is great. Am I the only one thinking this way?

This one looks good, but it seems like they are using UE4, which hangs my system (R600g), even with the lightest demo.
Well, that makes one more item on my wishlist.
@the one who talked about Gear Up (I am on my mobile, I don't really want to go back and look who said what, sorry), how did you manage to get it running ? It crashes on startup for me, and I am not the only one.

Interesting results, thank you for this survey. What I would like to see is the drivers used by vendor (I wonder if ~80% of nvidia users are using the blob, while the same is true about AMD and open source users :-)

It would be cool if borderlands supported some kind of split screen, since "steamOS" is designed with consoles in mind. But the port first needs to happen. Let's show them our interest!

Yes! We need this.
There was already a petition for this, but it hasn't encountered the expected success (not enough promoted, I think)
It would be great to be able to play borderlands2 on my Linux rig. I am a bit afraid of performance issues, though : B1&2 were very smooth on windows, but I don't expect anything stellar from the R600 driver (yet).

An update has just been posted on their kickstarter campaign. The are going to make a video.
It seems that, like a lot of other good projects, they are not well prepared for their campaign. I have seen better marketing campaigns, and there is little communication on the subject.
Yes, but in this case, "Scientific accuracy" means accurate theories, they said they would update (if I remember well) the game when new ideas are published. And scientists indeed have high hopes for the next century ^_^
