I hope the driver exposes r, g and b files within the /dev tree so it can sync the system accent color to it in plasma.

I hope they enable age verification with the German government ID card. It allows you to prove you're above 18 without revealing your age or any other personal details.

Strange decision to introduce TOTP in 2025. Passkeys would have been nice.

It's not very in depth, but it shows in general where the money is coming from and where it's going. Donations are also tax-deductible in Germany because they are "gemeinnützig" meaning that it has to be for the public good and their by-laws require that the money is used to support KDE.

Quoting: PublicNuisanceIf KDE were to have something transparent like an Open Collective so i'd see how the money is being used then i'd donate as I enjoy using KDE Connect. I don't mind the pop up message.Their report of the annual meeting has a section from their financial working group:

Already tried it at FOSDEM.
The device feels a lot heavier than the steam deck and the triggers are really bad.
Trackpads are nice to see. Sadly they are solid and don't have haptic feedback, so they feel way worse than the Steam Deck ones.
Positive note: they said they are going to ship an image based immutable system out of the box similar to the deck, but also offer a more classic variant to flash for users.
