Two Worlds: Epic Edition continues Topware Interactive's push into Linux with their older titles. It is now available in beta form, and it uses Wine.

You may or may not remember that I recently broke the news that Two Worlds II was finally coming to Linux & SteamOS along with major engine upgrades. The better news is that it's going to be on GOG for Linux, and have less annoying restrictions.

Something I have been speaking about with Topware since 2013 is finally going to happen! Two Worlds II is getting a major engine upgrade, with new DLC and SteamOS & Linux support too.

Poi is the latest of a small handful of 3D platformers to release for Linux these last couple of months, and is worth a look for fans of 90s era 3D platformers.

You might not remember, but we had the Publisher of Two Worlds II confirm to us multiple times that Two Worlds II would come to Linux, and then things got confusing, but now one of the actual developers has confirmed it will happen.

Wine development team was able to produce a new experimental release today. 1.7.41 bringing many new features and as many as 41 bugfixes.

So, you all know by now that Tropico 5 has been pushed back for the Steam Machines release and it does beg the question, are more AAA games waiting for Steam Machines?
