Knight Squad Now On Linux, Bomberman Meets Gauntlet

By - | Views: 5,764

We mentioned before that Knight Squad was coming to Linux, and here it is with the latest update! Knight Squad is a 1 to 8 players game that can be described as SNES era Bomberman meets Gauntlet. Play as a Knight in the arena and defeat your opponents using epic weapons and power ups.

The new update doesn't just bring a Linux version, but new maps and a new game mode too. We have tested it out and even with bots it's frantic as hell, and really quite fun. I can really imagine playing this type of game happily on a Steambox with a few controllers and having a real blast with. With multiple different game modes offered up there is a lot of replayability to Knight Squad.

Check out Knight Squad in Early Access on Steam, and tell us what you think.

Not digging the camera, looks like a real eye-strainer.

The characters are a little on the small side, but it doesn't seem to be a problem when actually playing it.
