Steam's Summer Sale to apparently begin on June 23rd

By - | Views: 13,748

Paypal has once again sent out early word about the Steam Summer Sale, they said it will start on June 23rd.

It’s official: the @Steam_games sale starts 23rd June. https://t.co/6EdbWFScCW

A week to go, is your wallet ready?

This isn't official, but Paypal have been correct about it before. Strange that such things can leak out this easily though. Valve will likely stay quiet on it as usual until it actually happens.

My Steam wishlist is near 100, but I use it mainly as a way to keep track of games that interest me. There's no way I'd ever have the money to buy them all nor the time to play them. I go through my wishlist every few months and purge it.

$180 in my STEAM wallet so far...have been waiting so long for it!

Old RPG/Adventure games and, of course, Indies a lot!

Quoting: Mountain Man(Pro tip: Never let your significant other see the "hours played" in your Steam library!).

Honestly I don't think it matters. I have almost no time for games, I maybe average an hour a week (and that's mostly because of the one or two weekends a year I can binge play). My wife still bitches at me about my steam library.

The bushido code states that if presented with a choice between a wife and a Steam library, one chooses Steam library. Always.

I look at the discussion of number of games people have on their wishlist. I look at the 463 games on my wishlist. I bow my head and walk away.

(Total games is 326 playable on Linux - the rest probably coming from bundles.)
