Recursed [Steam], is a new indie puzzle platformer that might just warp your mind a little bit. I've been playing it and don't let the graphical style fool you, it's quite good.

Disclosure: Key provided by the developer.

One of the unique features of Recursed are the chests, as they contain different rooms and you can pick up these chests and move them around. You can deposit a chest inside another chest and it starts getting a bit confusing from there. You will be loading a level, going inside a chest in that level to reach another level, to grab a chest to another level and bring it outside into the previous level and—repeat.

I like it, as there are no enemies, nothing to fight and it's all very peaceful.

If you like mapping things out in your brain, puzzles and levels within levels that you can move around, then by all means give it a try.

While it gives the allusion of being difficult, a lot of it is actually quite simple and relies on your memory while trying to confuse you with a room within a room type of thing.

There's often a ring that you can throw against a wall to make it talk, and it sometimes gives you hints. Just be sure to not accidentally throw it down a pit like I did on one level.

Go check it out and tell me what you think. The Linux version works perfectly from what I can tell, no obvious issues.

The game was also built entirely on Linux. Article taken from GamingOnLinux.com.

Woops removed that bit, as the dev doesn't use one.

When I saw this one a couple months ago, it got my attention. Great to see it on Linux, added to my wishlist!
