This is your once a month reminder to make sure your PC information is correct on your user profiles. A fresh batch of statistics is generated on the 1st of each month.
[pcinfo]
You can see the statistics any time on this page.
If you want your details to actually be included in the monthly survey, be sure to head here and tick the box labelled "Include your PC details in our Monthly User Statistics?" and hit the "Update" button at the bottom, it's opt-in and you can uncheck it at any time not to be included in future statistics gathering.
PC Info is automatically purged if it hasn't been updated, or if you don't click the link to remain in for 2 years. This way we prevent too much stale data and don't hold onto your data for longer than required. If this is still correct and it has been a long time since you updated, you can simply click here to continue to be included. If this isn't correct, click here to go to your User Control Panel to update it!
DE, huh... I'm not sure... I'm using KDE with Awesome as my WM, so I'll say Window Manager only, even if that's not right.Well, Awesome is just a Window Manager, so you're using KDE as your desktop?
;-)
Had a problem with updating mine because only the Ti version of the GTX 1660 is listed :YAdded, for future reference there's a handy link below the GPU field to email us a missing one :)

@liamdawe: can you please add the total (and specific) number of users to trends in the tooltip, when hovering over specific data point? I.e. something like (30% [300/1000]). Percentages alone are not as informative without absolute numbers.Working on it. I have mostly figured out how to do this, hang tight.
Done, took some research and some hair-pulling but I managed to get it to work.@liamdawe: can you please add the total (and specific) number of users to trends in the tooltip, when hovering over specific data point? I wish it had more flexibility in the controllers part. Since we Linux users are not mainstream, it's quite useful to know when some other people have more unusual controllers, like HOTAS sets or steering wheels.Suggestions? I am happy to make adjustments, but I can't act on vague stuff like that. What do you want changed/added?

Great, thanks! It shows a drop in the total number of users, when checking some trends. Is it because some users aren't updating profiles, or because some users stopped specifying some particular parameter in their profile?

- Some removed their answer
- Some unticked the box to be in the survey
- Old data past two years
And of course a mixture of all three.

Yeah, but Awesome chooses to not follow some of the more cruft-y EWMH specs (only one virtual workspace over all monitors, for example), so my desktop is differently compatible than normal KDE.
Still KDE and all the programs associated though? If you use KDE, you use KDE ;)Well, Awesome is just a Window Manager, so you're using KDE as your desktop?

The survey isn't currently meant to dive into every single little detail about people's setups, more to get an overview.
I will think on this, that sounds like it would get pretty messy, especially to get some kind of chart out of it.Nothing too fancy, I think an extra field where you could enter a list of the devices you use would do. :)I wish it had more flexibility in the controllers part. then i could brag aboit the Areca 1231-ML 12 port raid hba i'm phasing out with m.2 pcie nvme sticks :D
"Monitors" should rather be named "Number of monitors", because it can be confusing. I was on the trends page (hint Ubuntu :P) and I thought the monitors trends had broken label associations and we got their indexes/IDs instead of the names. Programmer issue, but we're still people. :PI've adjusted that, I can see how it could be confusing. It's now named "Number of monitors" and I've also added a dash separator between the label and the amount so hopefully that makes it easier.
