WaterField Designs, maker of various luxury accessories for different types of hardware, has announced their "Complete Case for Steam Deck" ready for all your travelling.

It will hold pretty much everything you could need a for a full experience. There's space inside for all of this together:

  • Steam Deck console
  • Steam Deck dock
  • Two Charging blocks
  • Controller
  • 75% Keyboard
  • Mouse
  • HDMI Cable
  • Ear buds
  • Micro SD cards

Yup, it will carry all of that and the bag itself is not even particularly big either. They managed to make it snugly hold plenty, while not looking ridiculous — quite a feat that. The problem though? The price. It's an eye-watering $239 and there's even a special strap you can add for another $24.

Based in San Francisco, USA, their gear is all built in their local workshop.

Shipping starts by December 9th, and they ship internationally, so perhaps a good holiday gift for the Steam Deck nerd in your life? Or just something for yourself to look fashionable on the train?

I like that this exists, but I can find bags that'll fit the same amount of gear for much less, that also look a lot better, so...

I prefer the "Gaming on linux" way
it's cheaper.
I'm sure we will find other ways/cases cheaper that will fit.

While i don't look so cool carrying it, I'm rather using the original case. :-)

I have some of their cases for older devices (PSP, PS Vita, etc). They make amazing products, but definitely not inexpensive.

That's what I refer to as "stupidly expensive".
